A gud briyani spot... A nce place u can expect all verity of non veg foods in good quality and nce taste.. The restaurant is also clean and good environment. But price Is OK not cheap....but u will the quality of food wt u pay for... All type of payments is available card, UPI is also available.... But the quality and the taste of the food is awesome.... In kumbakonam only countable spots are good for briyani lovers... I prefer tis one of the spot where u can get good briyani.... In my opinion it is better than aasife briyani... Bcz always locals have their method of preparation and each location have different briyani style... In that way aathurar is preferable... Free door delivery is also available... It is also available via various food delivery partners swiggy and zomato......

I visited this restaurant one afternoon to place a parcel order. While waiting, I sat in the dining area. However, a staff member rudely asked me to leave, claiming I wasn’t allowed to sit there. To my disappointment, the management didn’t intervene or question the staff’s behavior. Despite being a regular customer, I felt humiliated by this treatment.

If you value respect and professionalism, I cannot recommend this restaurant based on my experience. This incident occurred around 2 PM (December 26th). I strongly urge the management to take strict action against such unprofessional behavior from their staff.

I recently visited Kumbakonam and bought mutton biryani from Aathurar Biryani. The rice was okay, but the two pieces of mutton were like paneer cubes – very disappointing. Also, there was no egg included. When I asked about it, they said the egg is only complimentary with the family bucket.
