Buddies Cafe: A Haven in Ooty... Excellent service, staff and a variety of tea products..... I recently had the pleasure of visiting Buddies Cafe in Ooty, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality that made me feel right at home.

First and foremost, let's talk about the tea varieties .The menu offers a delightful array of tea, each bursting with flavor and made with fresh, high-quality tea leaf ingredients. The reviews are either fake, paid or it was our bad day but we went here after being disappointed at the other branch hoping the reviews do justice here but this was even worse.

The lady didn’t stop talking on the phone while we waited for 5-7 mins to get her attention. I took my parents excitedly to have the tea and also purchase to take gifts back home, but the only lady there didn’t even look at our face despite seeking her attention. We saw two other tourists leave after waiting like us.

I am not sure if the owners aren’t taking interest or what the issue is but this is rarely how I’ve been greeted at any cafe or restaurant in my entire life of travelling avidly across the world!

Pathetic RUDE, lady manager who is ever behind the counter. She refused to give the bill / send the bill online.

We were still discussing the options to buy while paying the amount. She immediately closed the bill.

Refused to adjust OR listen to anything. ALSO Surprisingly REFUSED TO PROVIDE BILL ONLINE AND OFFLINE.

NOW we bought 2500 Rupees of products, we are not satisfied with and we also don't have a bill of.

No wonder nobody comes to this place, absolute arrogance for NOTHING.

AND IN THE END OFCOURSE SHE STARTED SPEAKING IN TAMIL AND WE COULDN'T UNDERSTAND.
