One of the decent looking Chai Kings store in Chennai but has one of the worst inconsistent customer service I have witnessed till now. I have been a regular to the shop atleast for 10-12 times till now. Atleast 4-5 times they did not provide me the bill. They have a notice saying that if the store do not provide the bill you can claim some money for it after reporting it. I left rhe first two times forgiving them when they did not provide the bill but the third time when I wanted to complain they did not even pick the call. This happened atleast two more times and they did not keep up with their word. The service also especially the north indians who serve are bit rude and are very careless most of the times. The customer service and the responsibility of the staff was very appalling to the least. The taste of masala chai is bland and very light. I complained to them to make the masala felt in the chai a couple of times and they keep saying they will give me a stronger one next time which they never did till now. They keep saying it's machine mixed but never took my complaint and feedback seriously till now. Very disappointing overall....

Location is awful. service very poor and painfully slow. quality of tea is like any other local tea shop. I recently bought Zafrani chai flask costed Rs.250/- (at an avg of Rs.50 per cup). I STRONLY DONT RECOMMEND THIS TEA AND THIS SHOP. You will be taken for a joyful ride as the quantity is very very small and you will not at all have the satisfaction of having had tea. YOU WILL HAVE TO LITERALLY PEEP INSIDE THE TINY CUP TO CHECK THE QUANTITY. There were lot of precipitates/coagulate in the tea that was given to me. Very poor quality. Really don't know how they are running this shop and how a PE investor has put in his money into this kind of a venture. There is absolutely no take away from this shop. There ae plenty of other options available in and around this place. I am going to mark this spot as never to visit in life time as i felt cheated for the quantity and quality of product that I bought. Will never recommend Chai King to anyone. Any other road side tea shop is anytime 1000 times better. Regret to have bought tea...
