If was amazing experience...The company introduced its American Legends line of specialty pizzas in 2009, featuring 40% more cheese than the company's regular pizzas, along with a greater variety of toppings. That same year, Domino's began selling its Bread Bowl Pasta entree, a lightly seasoned bread bowl baked with pasta inside, and the Lava Crunch Cake dessert, composed of a crunchy chocolate shell filled with warm fudge. Domino's promoted the dessert by flying in 1,000 cakes to deliver at Hoffstadt Bluffs Visitor Center near Mount St. Helens in Washington state.
In 2010, shortly after the company's 50th anniversary, Domino's changed its pizza recipe "from the crust up", making significant changes in the dough, sauce, and cheese used in their pizzas.Their advertising campaign admitted to earlier problems with the public perception of Domino's product due to taste issues.
In September 2012, Domino's announced it was going to roll out a pan pizza on September 24, 2012.Following this move, the Deep Dish pizza was discontinued after 23 years of being on the menu.

I am writing to share my disappointment regarding my recent visit to Domino’s Pizza at VR Mall, Chennai. I had ordered the Pizza Feast Meal, which was heavily promoted in-store as a 4-course Non-Veg Loaded Pizza Meal (Pizza, Creamy Tomato Meltz, Chicken Popcorn, and Beverage) for ₹169.
However, what I actually received bore no resemblance to the promotional campaign. The meal served was poorly presented, and in no way matched the images or description on the advertisement. The overall quality was extremely unsatisfactory.
As a regular customer, I felt completely misled and cheated by this experience. Advertising something so appealing and delivering something entirely different is not only unfair but also damages the trust customers place in your brand.
I sincerely urge Domino’s to take corrective measures to ensure consistency between promotional campaigns and actual service, so that no other customer has to go through such a disappointing experience...
Read moreMy visit to Domino’s Pizza, VR Mall turned out to be a nostalgic experience. When I went, they weren’t accepting UPI, so I paid by card. I ordered a Farmhouse Pizza, Pizza Mania, chicken wings, and Coke, and the average wait time was about 25 minutes – which was fine.
But the real surprise was in the taste. The pizzas here brought back memories of the classic Domino’s flavor I used to enjoy 10 years ago. Compared to the Mogappair branch, the VR Mall Domino’s felt much better in terms of authentic taste and quality. Every bite reminded me of the Domino’s I had been missing all these years.
The staff was polite, and the overall service was smooth. I visited around 12 PM in the daytime, so the place wasn’t too crowded. But I noticed that in the evenings it tends to get busy, so waiting might be a little longer then.
Overall, this branch stands out for keeping the real Domino’s flavor alive, making it a place worth visiting if you want to relive that old-school Domino’s...
