Recently visited this place. Food was good, not to complain anything much in that area.
But the service is one of the worst ever I've experienced. Not at all customer friendly. When we first sat on our table the person who's gonna take our order (who is also seems to be the owner) threw the menu card from a distance. That was a put off from the start itself. We ordered main course. While we were eating the bill came. They didn't even ask for anything else. We didn't even finish our food. We planned to order a desert but after seeing their unwelcoming response we didn't order anything. The owner was trying to convince the next table to buy more food even though they said no but didn't even care about our table. I just thought they don't seem like customers to visit their restaurant. While paying the bill we mentioned all these things to the owner (the one who took our orders). He outrightly denied everything.
The place wasn't even crowded when I visited. Only 3 tables were occupied. So shortage in work force or busy hour can't be an explanation for this unwelcoming act of service.
Saw many 1 star reviews for this place. I just thought of giving it a try which led for another 1 star review for this restaurant.
Good taste of the food was not remembered due to the very bitter taste experienced from their service.
P.S.: Also found discrepancies in the food rate. The rates were 10% to 20% lower in the menu cards that were in the table compared to the menu card that is present near the billing. So our estimate for the...

Yet, the moment we stepped inside, the world shifted. The air was alive with the aroma of spices and the warmth of heartfelt hospitality.
The staff greeted us with genuine smiles, their enthusiasm palpable as they passionately described each dish on the menu. It was as if they weren’t just serving food, but sharing a piece of Kerala itself. Intrigued, we placed our order.
When the food arrived, it was nothing short of a revelation. Each bite was a symphony of flavors, transporting us straight to the lush landscapes of Kerala. The Tawa squid fry was a masterpiece—spiced to perfection with a tantalizing crispness. The Malabar biryani was a celebration of fragrant rice and tender meat, an ode to Kerala's culinary soul. And then there was the beetroot pickle—vibrant, tangy, and utterly unforgettable.
The service? Impeccable. Attentive without being intrusive, they made us feel like honored guests rather than mere diners. And to top it all, the experience was delightfully affordable.
This isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a journey. A must-visit for anyone seeking to savor the heart of Kerala on a plate.

Read moreLocated in Anna Nagar East, this small restaurant offers a diverse range of both North and South Indian cuisine. Intrigued by their non-veg platter, their platter boasted two tempting crab lollipops, accompanied by two pieces of succulent grilled chicken and two pieces of fish fingers adorned with mayo. Visually, it was a feast for the eyes. However, upon tasting the fish fingers, it became evident that they were not freshly prepared but rather a frozen option, diminishing the overall experience.
Despite this setback, I was eager to explore another specialty of the house – the Thalassery biriyani. Renowned for its spicy flavors and aromatic spices. To my dismay, the biriyani presented a surprising twist – instead of the expected heat, it offered a perplexing sweetness. My friend, a native of Kerala, shared his thoughts affirming that this was not the authentic Thalassery biriyani we had anticipated.
Reflecting on the overall experience, the restaurant proved to be a mixed bag. Overall, while the restaurant showed promise, it fell short of...
