Cafe Arabica! Becoming one of a trending cafe for its desserts , middle east style sweets and shakes and mocktails. Let me get down straight to the review. Our order was ; Appetizer: #Fish_fingers - the usual breadcrumbed style fried fish fillets served with mayo Main course: #Zinger_burger - American style fried chicken fillet placed between two soft buns added mayo and lettuce and served along with fries and sauce. But the chicken fillet was bit too fried to blackish brown which was in turn also affected the tatse of the burger. #Chicken_sausage_hotdog - grilled chicken sausage cut into bits mixed along with mayo and lettuce and placed between hot dog buns and served along with fries. The flavour of the mayo was a bit dominating which masked the sausage taste. #Penne_Duccale_pasta - combination of penne pasta, chicken , garlic sauteed in fresh cream sauce. The taste was a bit blend. Shakes and mocktails: Chocolate ice cream shake Blueberry arabian mocktail - mocktail mix of blueberry syrup and sprite Peach mojito - actually our order was a peach iced tea. Desserts: Blueberry truffle - Rich smoothy layer of thick blueberry mousse topped with blueberry syrup and thyme leaves, Followed by mouth melting vanilla custard trapped between layers of strawberry gelatin . The ambience was good but the service was bit slow.
Overall the food experience was not at all satisfactory except for their signature desserts. Definitely must improve in their food quality and...

I'm writing this review with glee. I wanted to do something special for my sister on her birthday and decided to customise a cake with a theme (Multi tasking mother).
I found this design on Pinterest and checked with a couple of home bakers for the customizing the cake. Most of them quoted 2x to 4x the cost of regular cakes. Though I understand that there's additional cost for customization, I felt it to be on the higher side.
I stumbled upon Cafe Arabica on some YouTube video and decided to check with them. Mr. Lal was my POC and he understood my requirements clearly.
I honestly did not expect much, because I did not want to be disappointed. But much to my surprise, the cake looked picture perfect to the one I had imagined. Attaching the picture for reference.
I had asked for butterscotch flavor cake and they nailed it! The cake looked and tasted good. And the best part was that it costed me only around 1. 5k which was 1/2 or 1/3 of the cost quoted by few other bakers.
I'll definitely recommend this place to anyone for...
Read moreMy husband and I decided to head for a scrumptious continental breakfast. While we had another Anna Nagar-based place in mind, it was closed, so we decided to try Cafe Arabica instead. We tried their Arabian Breakfast and American Breakfast. On first glance, we felt 300-350 for a breakfast platter was a bit on the high side. But as the food started arriving, the quantity and quality surprised us. The slices of bread are thick yet so soft and beautiful baked. The sandwich had a generous amount of filling. The juices were just perfect and so fresh and flavourful despite them being sugarless. The only one negative comment I'd have to make was that it took time for the dishes to arrive. But that wouldn't be a fair judgement as I was in a hurry to leave and get to work on time. I'm sure it wouldn't have bothered me otherwise. We will definitely be going back to try out more of their dishes, especially the baklava. And the staff was...
