Pulkhas were hot and fresh. Potato curry was average and lacked flavour. Eggplant curry was ok. The service was a let down and customer service is extremely poor. Staff are rude and have no commonsense. We went to the restaurant and were extremely disappointed. It had a very negative vibe about the place. Would not recommend if you are heading to Rameshwaram for peace. We came out quite disturbed
We requested for some yogurt as our daughter found the food spicy and the waiter said we provide Yougurt only once and walked away. I tried to reason with him and offered to pay extra but was met with rudeness to a point where I had to scream at him for being rude
Gulab Jamoons were out of a Haldiram tin. Some warm and some cold. We’re provided after the meal and the owner wanted to charge us for it. I told him that we did not order it as he was very rude and said you ate it so pay. I said I thought it was a part of the meal as I did not order it and he started screaming at the waiter in front of us. I showed pity on the waiter and forced to pay
Both staff and owner/manager are extremely rude

Detailed Experience
In Rameswaram, there are plenty of hotels around the temple offering a mix of cuisines. Meera Bhavan is especially popular among North Indian, Gujarati, and Rajasthani tourists. It’s almost always full, with people patiently waiting for their turn.
We visited for dinner, and the food did not disappoint. It was simple, flavorful, and exactly what we were craving. We tried Paneer Masala, Chana Masala, Sev Tamatar, Ghee Roti, and washed it all down with Buttermilk and Lassi. If you’re in town, I highly recommend the Gujarati and Rajasthani food, especially the hot Ghee Roti paired with Gujarati and Rajasthani curries.
While the restaurant can get crowded and chaotic, the owner’s attentiveness stands out. He ensures tables are allocated fairly, and the food experience is definitely worth the wait.
