Need to take up banana leaf after which one eats and put into collectible drum kept near hand cleaning wash basin. Pay the amount after verifying with server orally telling up the food items one ate with the person at cashier table. Pluses first.

Great location, heart of town, walking distance from Mutt Street and Kaveri Bhagawat Padithurai. Reasonable prices. Mess like ambience. Polite staff. Much improved filter coffee. Parking not an issue.

Minuses.

Not much. Importantly though, taste is nothing much to write to home about. Average taste. Can't vouch for great hygiene or quality. Cramped dining space, a major issue in these Corona days. During peak hours, you cannot move without poking into others.

Very old traditional hotel run by 2nd generation. Fantastic taste and serves authentic South Indian food. Visited this place 5 years back and visited again this month and the taste remains the same.
