Food that Exceeds Expectations
The menu boasts an impressive array of North Indian and street food classics, all expertly crafted to tantalize your taste buds. I indulged in the Pani Puri, Pav Bhaji, and Samosa Chaat, and each dish was a masterclass in flavors and textures. The portions were generous, and the prices were more than reasonable.
Standout Dishes
Pani Puri: A symphony of flavors and textures, with crispy puris giving way to a burst of tangy and spicy goodness. Pav Bhaji: A classic Mumbai street food staple, executed to perfection with tender vegetables and a rich, buttery sauce. Samosa Chaat: A delightful twist on the classic samosa, with crispy exterior giving way to a flavorful potato and pea filling.
Exceptional Service
The staff at Kailash Parbat are attentive, courteous, and knowledgeable about the menu. Our server, Sorif, was particularly impressive, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our meal.

Read moreAbsolutely terrible experience with Kailash Parbhat, Ooty. I placed two separate orders, and both were disappointing in different ways — clearly showing this place has zero control over quality or hygiene.
For the first order, I had ordered paranthas with dahi for my sick senior parents. What we received was frozen yogurt in both containers instead of fresh dahi. It was rock solid and completely inedible — not something you expect from a restaurant that’s supposed to care about its customers, especially when the meal was for unwell elders. Still, I decided to let it go and gave them another chance, assuming it might have been a one-time issue.
But for the second order, things got even worse. This time, I found a long hair in the food (photo attached). That’s not just disappointing — it’s disgusting and absolutely unhygienic. How can a place serve food in such condition? It’s clear there’s no basic cleanliness or quality check happening in their kitchen.
Finding a hair in food is bad enough, but it’s even more infuriating when you realize you trusted them again after a bad first experience. This is pure negligence and complete disregard for food safety.
If I could give zero stars, I would. Kailash Parbhat Ooty needs a serious inspection by health authorities. I’ll never be ordering from here again and strongly urge others to stay far away from this restaurant if you care about hygiene, quality, or basic decency in...
