I recently visited here, and I have to say it was a disappointing experience. The food was far from satisfactory – the taste was bland and unappetizing, and to make matters worse, the portion size was very small. It didn’t feel like value for money at all.

What was especially frustrating is that they charged ₹147 (including GST) for a meal that wasn’t even close to being worth that price. The quantity was insufficient, and overall, it felt like I was paying more for the name and location than for the actual food quality.

Wouldn’t recommend this place if you're looking for a fulfilling and tasty meal in Ooty. Definitely not...

Went there for lunch, and ordered Bengali thali. It was not exactly what a Bengali thali could be but a mix or north, Bengali and Gujarati. However all in all the food was alright.

The staff there was a little unresponsive when asked for a foil paper, since language was a barrier we told then tissue paper and also showed them the foil that was wrapped into the basket. But they refused to give. It was required for girl's day of the month so it was a little off for them. But then we saw a person putting tissues in the holder so we went and took those.

I found the food, usually the south indian variety , very good and their waiting time is also very less. The pricing is a bit on higher side when compared to other cities, may be because they want to take advantage of tourist location. Some waiters are very good and respond well to the queries and requests of extra "Sambhar" while other waiter flatly refuse. So, it is better to be careful in explaining the order in the beginning itself ; for e.g.: The first batch of Roti and subsequent order for extra roti seems quite different which points to lack of attentiveness on the part of waiters but after the food arrives, not much can be done.
