Mom's oven - Homemade cakes — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

Giving this edited review after a lot of thought.. initially her cakes were very good.. but off late.. they are worse than normal bakery cakes.. also for which u will be paying double.. being a loyal customer for past 2 yrs.. and when I mentioned about the quality she went all arrogant on me and said don’t order from us.. this is what one gets after being her customer for 2 yrs! Don’t recommend anyone to try from her !

For ur reply which is for everyone to read… this is a reply from someone who also bakes and knows how baking goes.. no time to bake hence I end up ordering ! .

I never ordered tea cake from u again cuz I dint like it! The other wheat cake I tried.. it genuinely got spoilt and bitter.. that was the honest feedback.. which again I dint order another time! Another time around inspite of asking for less sweet u made a cake which was too sweet and not palatable.. when asked u said maybe the mango purée was sweet !! Kindly jog ur memories !!

Every time I consistently ordered only walnut brownies every time which I like and this time without asking me u made it almond !.. Which is the only thing I repeatedly ordered and they are good I don’t deny !

I wanted to try different from u so I ordered this banana walnut and lemon strawberry which were worst than normal bakery! I had ordered for 10 friends and dint want to send back half eaten ones! it was arrogance but nothing else to text back saying find another homebaker !

U were the one who said don’t pay!.. thank god atleast that sense u had..

By the way money was never the issue cuz my orders have gone up to 5k.. and you know that !

Anyways when u guys can’t take constructive criticism which is only going to help u guys be better there s no point going ahead !

Kindly learn the art of taking feedbacks which will only help u.. telling to find another homemaker was definitely being rude to the customer !

Kindly notice how in the end she has mentioned that I am not a genuine client when she herself has told that I ordered for past 2 yrs ! This woman has no respect for customers stating that am not genuine.. when all I told her was the taste was not good at all…

Also for your kind attention sweet bakes can go bitter when u have used too much stabilisers or the product goes contaminated.. kindly check up on your science facts.. I think that’s missing..

Also to bring to attention.. she said she s using store bought stuff while claiming they don’t use any stuff other bakeries use… what a sham ! I believed all their lies for two years !!!

And telling reducing sugar is difficult.. Liu u should have accepted it’s not possible initially only why take the order in the first place

So much this woman is arguing when I have been her customer for 2yrs and saying all is intentional..

When I gave her a good review 2 yrs ago she felt I was a good genuine customer and when am telling cake is bad recently I suddenly have all Ill intentions … . she s not willing to accept and listen to a customer writing up such big stories to cover up with all sorts of reasons…

Anyways all this a total waste of time on this arrogant home baker who has no respect for customers! And only wants good reviews … cuz it’s all about business and money...

I ordered a rose-milk cake from Mom’s Kitchen and was absolutely blown away. The cake was a beautiful mix of sponginess, lightness, and moistness. The cake was infused tenderly with the aroma of rose milk, and the wonderful baker even gave a bottle of homemade rose milk to go with it!

Regarding the service, she was kind and patient. Furthermore, she was so easy to communicate with. Usually, when I order custom-made cakes, they don’t always look like the picture I show to the bakers; the cake I got today totally shattered that; it so closely resembled the image I had seen.
