Pantry D'or — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

Had to surprise my gal for the anniversary, had this place in mind for a long time, this might also be a reason for not going to that place for some other occasion, U get Privacy to the core, the service is extraordinary, ambience is so romantic, with all good slogans and quotes around the wall😍 not hard to find also, I felt we ordered more, and could not eat more, but what all we ordered that, was to the next level. Not so expensive also... the cutlery used is very good, food 🥘 quality is not compromised too...

Croissant au Saumon fumè : smoked salmon stuffed into the croissant, I dont know why I order the same dish in all the pantry d'ors, the like the smell off the raw salmon too much...

Nuggets de poulet: chicken nuggets stuffed with cheese and the side Mayo and the sauce was really good, had got addicted to that

Hamburger de poulet double: the burger was normal but just double decker sausages and patties

Poulet grillé : PIZZA 🍕 have to really try these pizzas 🍕 quantity is less for the price but Tastes really good

Yankee banané : USA famous snack PAN CAKES 🎂 the banana flavour with honey, had given chocolate sauce in it which have a really good taste..

Vanilla shake : thick ice cream shake which was so soothing to the throats for all these heavy dishes

Anniversary cake : dark chocolate fantasy, celebration time had ordered a cake 🎂 which quite expensive for half KG ₹570 and odd, bye really tasted very good 😊

Excellent place to visit for couples at any time, groups outings or friends get together have to book a table in advance Recommended to all the bill came around ₹2400 after all these dishes, I forgot the mention one more thing, we had ordered red sauce pasta 🍝 too with the above menu😍😋😋😋😋

A Mixed Experience — Great Food, But Staff Needs Clarity

I recently spent a couple of hours at this restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed the food — the food champion was truly excellent, and the ambiance was inviting enough to make me want to stay longer. It's clearly a well-run kitchen, and for that, they deserve full credit.

However, I did run into an unexpected experience with the staff that left me a little disappointed. After finishing my meal and settling the bill, I was politely asked not to use my laptop. While I respect any house rules, I looked around and only found a notice that said "no interviews or business meetings allowed" — there was no mention of laptops.

When I asked the staff for clarification, their responses were a bit inconsistent. First, I was told laptops weren’t allowed at all. Then they said laptops were allowed if I continued to order food. I wasn’t trying to stretch my stay without being a customer — I had already placed a full order and paid. I just needed a few minutes to wrap up some work quietly.

I understand the need for table turnover, especially in busy spots, but clearer communication and a little flexibility can go a long way in customer satisfaction. Many of us are happy to follow the rules — we just need them to be clearly stated and consistently upheld.

Overall, I’d still recommend this place for the food, but I hope the management takes a moment to brief the staff on how to handle such situations more gracefully. Sometimes, a 10-minute window for a customer to finish up can be the difference between a good experience and an...

Impromptu plan and was all set to try out this place with meager expectations. To begin with, it was their pleasant ambience, lighting and curated menu which impressed us. Though the parking space was tricky, seating space did the trick.

Chili cheese garlic - Cheesy bread with spicy chili for the start; typical and quite good

CCC - Crumb fried balls filled with cottage & Cheddar cheese with corn filling; perfectly cooked with good crunch; equal balance of flavor along every bite

Devilled paneer wrap - Spicy paneer with water chestnut dressed with aioli and crunchy lettuce; great crunch with sour kick, saucy and saturated with juices from the dressing (served with fries)

Mexican veg pasta - Rich fusilli pasta immersed in creamy mexican broccoli sauce; mild spiced with mind-blowing fragrance and spices

Rustica - Italian thin crust pizza overloaded with chopped baby corn, veggies and overflowing with Mozzarella; Not the best though but crisp thin crust with veggies were a WIN

Paneer tacos - Chose from the christmas menu; loaded with onions, sweet sauce and soft paneer; interesting combination of sauces with both sour and sweet dominating taste

Guava Chili mocktail & Mango banana smoothie - All time favorite fruits; perfect accompaniment for the meal; both were smooth along every sip. Though the chili and the banana was overpowering both the drinks, it was still WOW

The waiting time was more but no damage was done there. Service was decent enough while the prices were a bit on the higher side. The taste did justice to whatever was served so...
