Visited the restaurant a few days back. Loved the fact that they only take reservations and hence, u dont have to wait to be seated. The ambience was great, enjoyed the vibe of the place. Coming to the most important point the service !!! This is a disaster. The server brought wrong pizza to our table, he got us a vegetable pizza and kept arguing that margritta pizza has vegetables, until I showed him the ,menu and ingredients on that. This showed a poor knowledge at a fine dine place from the servers end. The food has a lot of hits and misses!!! The Paneer tikka was great, so were the Hummus and sweet potato fries. The pizza and masala papad (paid over 100 for tiny ones !!!) were a dissaster. North Indian seemed to be a lot better, with the gravy, biryani and breads doing justice to it being a restaurant. Overall, a average place !!! Was hoping that it would be a lot better as reviews were quite good !!!!

We were made to wait for more than 45 minutes despite having made a reservation. The staff definitely need more experience in crowd management and honoring reservations. Coming to the food, it's nothing to write home about. We had tomato shorba (soup), Pathar ka paneer (paneer wrapped and cooked in banana leaf), lucknawi chowk ki tikki (aloo tikki), butter roti, dal makhni and Tres leches. The soup was good, the paneer was very soft but the masala was not good and the mint chutney it's served with could also have been better. The aloo tikki was very drab. We had to get some ketchup to even manage a second bite. Butter roti was good and dal makhni was decent but a little sweet. Tres leches was also on the sweeter side but still good. Maybe our choices weren't the best ones, but I must say we left unimpressed. Note to restaurant: adding a few two seater tables will help managing crowd better.

This place truly stands out for anyone who loves authentic North Indian cuisine. Every dish we ordered was packed with flavour and beautifully presented. The Dal Makhani, slow-cooked for 24 hours, was the undisputed highlight — rich, creamy, and deeply comforting. The Naan was perfectly soft with just the right amount of char, pairing wonderfully with everything on the table. We also tried the Paneer Lababdar and Palak Patta Chaat, both exceptional in their own right. The chaat had that perfect balance of crunch, spice, and tang, while the paneer dish was indulgent yet perfectly spiced. Overall, this restaurant goes far beyond the usual fare offered by typical North Indian places — the flavours are refined, the ingredients feel fresh, and the ambience makes the whole dining experience memorable. Highly recommended for anyone craving truly delicious and elevated North Indian food.

Bombay Truffle – A Stylish Bite That Nearly Delivers

Bombay Truffle in Anna Nagar makes a confident first impression — sleek interiors, a serene modern vibe, and an eye-catching mural of Mumbai that whispers nostalgia with a contemporary flair. It feels like a space that promises flavourful storytelling. Sadly, the story sometimes stumbles on the palate.

Palak Patta Chaat was an absolute showstopper — every element in perfect harmony, crisp yet layered with tang, crunch, and spice. This was where the chef’s finesse shone. The paneer kebab also stood out: soft cottage cheese delicately stuffed with a crunchy filling that added real textural delight. Falafel was another win — crisp, flavour-packed, and beautifully complemented by the silken hummus.

But the Mushroom Cappuccino, despite its inventive appeal, fell flat — something essential was missing, perhaps depth or seasoning. It was a reminder that ambition needs execution. The Galouti Kebab, while not unpleasant, leaned on the slimy side and missed the melt-in-mouth magic its name evokes.

On the mains, the paneer pizza was satisfying — hot, cheesy, and hearty, though slightly too greasy to feel refined. The tawa pulao was a comforting, spicy affair, but the biryani didn’t quite hit the mark — lacking the aromatic complexity expected. The chole masala, however, was perfectly spiced and soulful.

Dessert brought the meal to a nearly grand close. The Shahi Tukda Malai was opulent and memorable — rich, creamy, and indulgent — only let down by the bread that was just a bit too scorched to ignore.

Service was courteous, the ambience was calming, and attention to detail in presentation was clear. Yet, the pricing walks a tightrope — while it complements the aesthetic, it doesn’t always reflect the consistency or quality...

Could never understand the hype around this.whatever request we made to staff he argued....one particular person...whotakes order.....we requestes him can we get somehow little hot jalebis ....which is a very usual thing in north india...he replied not possible..... generally restaurants wth such heavy prices do even customize meals fr us.....we requested him he gave an absured excuse that when you dip jalebi in sugar syrup it becomes cold....it's quite strange....than how are....people all.the local halwais make hot piping jalebis are they not dipping in sugar syrup....so that was a lame excuse....we also mentioned him if you say no to any request than you are not fit for this business ......and since we rec'd jalebis almost not warm we wanted to order again with paying the amount again...he simply turned the request off.cannot go back to a place.... where people just don't care.....we have haven sampoorna,we have Sangeetha .

I don't know why this place has people with such attitude.he said bluntly that ......no you cannot get hot jalebis this is how we serve....i told him.last time we had were hot but not this time...can you order another plate we will.pay...bt he refused Also the order takes pretty much long to come that is always there.....waiting time is more than usual around 25 to 30.mints.not going back to this place.north indians mostly preferr their food hot and esp jalebis...pls...
