Good and decent veg restaurant in Punjabi style is this Bombay halwa house, They offering various kind of dishes, everything has a unique taste, location also very easy to find,it's in EVR road main location, restaurant looks cozy and unique, this is my first time taste Punjabi food for my opinion it's good, i ate aloo Paratha and cheese kulcha along with dhaal makeni , In this dhaal they added ghee, ghee taste and smell is very obvious. Main thing in this restaurant is serving people,i never expected this kind of services. They are polite and never upset and dull ,we called them many times for ordering food they never changed face all time they happy to served us. As I told earlier this was first-time to taste Punjabi food so many of items I'm not understanding so i checked with servers they explain how they making, what are the incrdients they add and how taste it will be etc, so servers also know about dish procedure is apprisateable not even servers even that owner also came and explain about dishes is so warm and repo, They offering Jain food also.

Read moreVisited first time on a weekend. Walk in around 12 - 12:30 noon.. Restaurant was already full & few were waiting outside. Additional there was somebody's private Party on the first floor.
We registered our name. Waited for 45 mins to get a table for 4 + 1 kid. We had to adjust & sit.
FOOD : Starters were good. Ordered phulka but due to heavy rush they said Tandoori roti can be served quickly. Cannot provide Phulka. So we agreed. Even in that rush, they made soft Butter T'roti. Side dishes were decent. Biriyani was kind of okay as it was made in hurry. Basundhi was not that good though it was thick.
Only Issue was that the management should have appointed additional staff to serve Party people separately. Limited staffs were running up & down, here & there trying two serve Dine - in and Party ppl.. In fact party ppl were given more importance than Dine - in and food was going upstairs which caused delay for Dine in customers. Of course this is not going to happen daily but still extra care has to be made when parties are engaged on weekends.
Overall Good.. Will visit again during week days to enjoy better taste in a...

Now coming to the food, the starters were top notch, both the Banjara Panneer Tikka and the Soya Chaap. The portion sizes were decent, to suit two pax per dish comfortably. The Makai ki Roti and Sarson ka Saag could've been better. However all's well that ends well, the Gajar ka Halwa and the special lassi made it a well rounded meal.
The restaurant is located at a prominent place on PH Road, and its proximity to the Nehru Park metro station makes it an easy commute, especially since this place has very little parking options. If you plan to come as a big group, that too on a weekend, forget coming by self driven cars. You WONT get parking.
This could've been a 3-star review, if not for the stellar service. The elderly gentleman waiting our table had a smile throughout, and was super prompt to address our queries. Hence...
