Really poor quality food and I came from Bangalore and I have tried every Panjabi food for 2 years and when I visited Coimbatore I was searching for north Indian restaurant and I travel 3 kms from my hotel stay for this restaurant and I came because of good reviews but I have no idea why this restaurant have good reviews because I just went 1st time and ordered vegetables sizzling rice and what they given you can see in image attached and rice was not cooked well and all the vegetables and rice was hard to eat and no salt feel like fried rice only and I would say street food fried rice is much better than this and price was 260 rs which is not at all acceptable because it’s feel like 60/80 rs fried rice feel. And I told guy for parcel because I was disappointed with this and he asked sir you didn’t liked it ? Then I told no but it’s okay because I don’t want to disrespect food so then I told you can do parcel and then I also ordered kaju mutter Makhan which is also not acceptable and same like fried rice not cooked well and matter was very hard to eat and no salt and there is no Makhan in it and main thing is price was 280 rs again and getting 100 rs curry feel and dal tadka also not good and feel like normal dal and no salt again and that was also 210 rs something and I would suggest go to street food it’s much better than this and my drop point was I have done parcel so I had food at my hotel and put it in to dustbin because if I eat that food then definitely my health will be worse so please don’t mind but this is my genuine review which I faced as first customer to your restaurant so I won’t recommend anyone to go here and I would suggest go to Annapurna restaurant where I always go because it’s very close to my hotel stay and food quality is just amazing I would say curry,Daal, everything is just great and I went this restaurant many times but my bad luck that this time I picked wrong restaurant and regret about it and I won’t visit again and hope after my this review they may improve their cooking and also healthy food. And I have paid total 950 rs which is full of waste for me and put in to dustbin.

Punjab Express Food Review *A Flavorful Journey Through Punjab's Cuisine* I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Punjab Express, and I must say, the experience was truly delightful! From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and the aroma of authentic Punjabi spices. *Ambiance* The restaurant's ambiance was cozy and inviting, with traditional Punjabi decor that added to the overall charm. The dim lighting and rustic wooden furniture created a warm and intimate atmosphere, perfect for a night out with friends or family. *Service* The service at the Punjab Express was top-notch. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly, taking the time to explain each dish and making recommendations. The staff's enthusiasm for the food was infectious, and it added to the overall dining experience. *Food* And now, onto the main event – the food! Oh, the food! Each dish was expertly prepared, with flavors that danced on my palate. Here are some highlights: - *Panner Garlic Paratha*: This classic Punjabi dish was a revelation. The mustard greens were cooked to a perfect balance of bitterness and sweetness, and was a delightful touch. - *Malai Kofta*: The Malai Kofta was sm spicy, and utterly delicious. The Kofta was cooked to perfection, with a lovely on the outside and juicy Malai within. *Verdict* In conclusion, the Punjab Express is a must-visit for anyone who loves authentic Punjabi cuisine. The food is exceptional, the service is warm and attentive, and the ambiance is cozy and inviting. If you're looking for a truly delicious dining experience, look no further than the Punjab Express. *Rating*: 5/5 stars *Recommendation*: Don't miss the Panner Garlic Paratha and Malai Kofta They're absolute must-try dishes. I hope you enjoy your dining experience at the Punjab Express as much as I did!

I was casually scrolling through the Google Maps Updates section, when I happened to spot this restaurant. Intrigued by their train based theme I decided to check them out with my family. Spotting them from the road could be a bit difficult without the help of maps. They have got parking for 2 wheelers and if you're lucky you could occupy the parking space which could accommodate just one car. If not, you would have to park it by the roadside. First Impressions : Pleasant Ambience. Definitely a good place for a calm outing with family and friends alike. Affable staffs. We tried out the nouvelle Badam soup and Momos soup. They were pretty good. The mixed Tikka platter was pretty wholesome and we had varieties of Mushroom, Panneer and Potato served as part of the platter. Kulchas, Naans and Romali Rotis were simply good. Matter Masala and Malai Kofta turned out to be great as well. Punjabi restaurants usually serve large portions of gravy, comparatively the quantity served were slightly less (definitely the quantity wasn't very less). Lassi was little less thicker than how they are generally in Punjabi restaurants. On a general note, we felt that the dishes were tweaked to suit South Indians slightly compromising on the authentic Punjabi taste. I would recommend the place to everyone who wants a try a new North Indian restaurant.

We had been to Coimbatore for pongal vacations from banglore. We wanted to have authentic north Indian food so we went to this place.I came to know about this place through a review given by one of the Facebook groups.I also checked for the reviews on Google. The restaurant was looking more like a old hotel and no people's on outside. When we went inside we saw few people's who were already dining.Liked the ambiance of restaurant-Train compartment themed. We ordered for paneer tikka dry, butter nan, kadai paneer,Golgappe and lassi. We ended up eating Afghani paneer tikka dry instead of regular paneer tikka dry coz of the misunderstanding bw the guy who takes order and us.But it was tasty so we ate. After having Afghani Paneer tikka we were made to wait for more than 20 mins to get our other foods.which disappointed us at the first point .Then finally when our food was served.Butter nan was nice but paneer tikka dry was not Upto the mark.Felt like it's not a authentic Punjabi food but more mixed with Tamil style spices.Where again we got disappointed. And I found an insect in the vessel in which butter nan was served.Which also very disturbing. At the end we ate Golgappe. The paani's which was served along with Golgappe was chilling and ididn't like it.I asked to server to change it but he told it'll be like this only. Then I asked who will have chilled paani at night. Then a lady who is in-charge of the cafe came in and told I'll change the paani for you.We said okay. But after a sec she came and told sorry it cannot be changed since we keep all paani's inside refrigerator and all our customers will have chilled paani's only along with Golgappe.Tht answer was not satisfying to me and i never had chilled paani along with Golgappe. So I wanted it to be changed so she told will cancel your order(golgappe) if you want.then we told okay.Again got disappointed and meeti lassi which we had was not authentic. The taste was more like a flavoured lassi. My husband asked forJaggery lassi but they don't have tht.Anyhow husband was telling before going itself tht we have many more good restaurants in CBE why do you want to go to a unknown restaurant.Since I wanted to have authentic Punjabi food.We went there.Husabnd couldn't eat stomach full food at all at the end.he was highly disappointed. It was not good at all.Dont recommend to anybody.Food is not Upto the mark.Youll get disappointed and the serving is very very...
