Terrible Hygiene and Careless Service — Avoid at All Costs

I visited this hotel based on the glowing Google reviews, but I honestly wonder if those reviews were fake or if there's been a recent change in management — because my experience was extremely disappointing.

It started with a bowl of mayonnaise being placed on my table. A gentleman at the next table pointed out that he had tasted it earlier, mistaking it for ice cream, and had returned it after licking it. Shockingly, the staff brought that same bowl to my table. When I raised a complaint, they casually took it back to the kitchen with no apology or explanation.

Then came my alfam. As I began eating, I noticed that the black plate had white flakes — either salt crystals or possibly mold — which I only saw after taking a bite. I immediately informed the waitress, who silently took the plate back and returned with the chicken on a different plate. I noticed her hands were still covered in marinade as she transferred the chicken by hand to the new plate. Even that plate was visibly dirty. At that point, I had completely lost my appetite.

When I went to pay at the counter, I was offered a 10% discount “since I didn’t eat the alfam” — as though it were a generous favor. Given the shocking hygiene and careless attitude, I returned the discount and paid the full amount out of frustration. But I walked out with a very real concern: are they serving the leftovers from one customer to another?

Reached around 9 pm....The place was crowded but the staff were quick to help us settling in The menu option were limited which helps in a way to choose quickly. We ordered Alfaham, Kunafa, Kerala Parota with Nadan Beef curry, Falooda and Sulaimani tea. Alfaham - Since we went with our kids, we chose the option of Arabian classic which was less spicy. Kuboos was very soft and the mayonnaise was authentic. Nadan Beef curry - The gravy was awesome and an ideal combo with Kerala parotta. The beef was tender and the spice mix was perfect. Kunafa - The Turkish dessert wonder was heavenly and out of the world. The kids loved the dish too much. The rich cream cheese filling within the roasted vermicelli was ultimate. A different and must try dessert. Hospitality was too good - the staff were polite and the service was pretty quick. OHH MY GODDDD!!!! Finally there is a place to enjoy KUZHI MANDI.. Absolutely brilliant taste, the mandi rice itself has a lot of flavours in it which is amazing. Though it has its flavours, it was not overpowering in any way. to make the rice even more tastier, they have a wonderful tasting shatta (MANDI SAUCE) and another sauce, which was a combination of sweet and spicy, never had it before with any Mandi rice, wow it tasted brilliant, kudos to the chef...Anddddd the beef....wow!!!!!! I surely have to tell you that it is one of the best flavoured mandi beef i've had. The meat was so juicy and tender, it was an absolute treat for the tastebuds and the alfaham chicken had beautiful flavours in it too, the recipe work surely deserves a thumbs up.The restaurant has definitely worked on the flavours and textures to make everything an absolutely brilliant dish and i am sure that the TASTE will definitely be spoken among people over their excellent customer service, beautiful ambience, good music and quick serving.If you are a Mandi lover, you should check out...
