Sree Madapalli — Restaurant in Trichy Corporation Limits

Oct 30 th ,me & my brother went to this hotel for lunch around 12:45 .The Place was not crowded much ,still the service we received was Very Very Pathetic. We sat in a table (which was in middle) ,Yet ,it took complete 10 mins for them just to come & ask what we want to have. Then another 5 mins to get some water & Banana Leaf. The worst thing we experienced was "there was two different quality of rice served ". One with superior Quality for People who order Lunch well before (if you Plan to have lunch tomorrow,You should inform them 1 day before itself). So , that you will be served with superior Quality of rice ,Vada etc..But if you go randomly anyday & order Lunch ,what you get/be served will be of moderate Quality Rice. Food was served cold as well. Service was Really Pathetic. I would like to conclude that this Place doens't deserve the Hype it receives. Pretty ordinary Place to have lunch .I would never visit here again. P.S : If anyone is Visiting Srirangam,if you want to have any good Place to have lunch worth your time & money then Visit "Venkatesa Bhavan "( Operating time for lunch is 2:00 P.M...

Absolutely pathetic restaurant. Today I had meals, but they did not give Poriyal telling that Poriyal got over and new poriyal is being cooked. It was taking time. So I said no problem and continued my meals. I also had to buy a curd rice parcel. So I requested the staff to give the Poriyal along with the curd rice as parcel. For that, she angrily said "THAYIR SAADHATHUKKU PORIYAL KIDAIYADHU. VENUM NA EXTRA 25 RUPEES KUDUNGA (Poriyal will not be given for Curd Rice. If you need, pay 25 rupees). I asked the poriyal which was actually missing in the meals. But she was very rude and having worst attitude. Then the billing person intervened and asked that lady to give me the poriyal. She gave the Poriyal, but have a very awkward and irritated look when giving.

The problem here is not the Poriyal, but the worst attitude of the staff who was serving. We are not eating free food. We are paying hefty amount. 100 rupees for a meal and 50 rupees for a Curd Rice. But they behave as if we are begging...

Worst ever.. I ordered idly at 6.55pm till 8.30pm we had been waiting for order to be received..but it was not. We called the hotel, the lady who isvin incharge of food delivery informed us that idlis were out of stock.. we were frustrated and she told us she will deliver different items. My parents are diabetic we had been waiting for around 2.5 hours to receive the food. They don't have the courtesy to inform the customers which food is available and which is not. Lady from madapalli were talking very rudely..these kinds of mishaps and unparliamentary activities with madapalli were happening very frequently. Hence I will not suggest this hotel to anyone and I will stop ordering from them. Regards, Sriram...
