Just had a terrible experience at Nimtho. Went there to try thalis and have a beer. Took a while to take order to begin with. Finally when they got the beer to my surprise it was at room temperature. I denied to take it. To this the waiter says that I had already opened it before Bringing it to your table. Perplexed me, i Tod him why he did that.- to that he didn't have a god enough answer. He then got his manager to talk to me. I asked him the same question why he got the beer opened from inside the pantry and not had the courtesy of asking me whether I'm happy with the temperature or not and then opening the beer - his response "What will you do if we open the beer at table" I thought it was common knowledge that you ask the customer before serving if they're happy with the temperature but this guy was adamant with trying to put the blame on me as if I'm asking him something out of the ordinary. He left the table unhappy - on the way back tells the waiter to cancel our order of thalis( i over heard him). Didn't even have the courage to do it to my face.

Needless to say, ruined my otherwise great gangtok experience. I am sure the food must be great but management for sure lacks empathy and professionalism. I owed this to fellow travellers and eaters.
