A soulful spot blending music, mountains, and mindful vibes – The Beatles Café, Rishikesh.
Tucked away in the serene lanes of Tapovan, The Beatles Café is more than just a place to eat — it’s an experience that captures the spirit of Rishikesh with a musical twist. Inspired by the legendary band’s visit to Rishikesh in the 1960s, the café pays homage through its artistic interiors, walls adorned with Beatles memorabilia, and a playlist that gently plays their timeless hits in the background.
The ambience is cozy yet vibrant, with large windows offering stunning views of the Ganges and lush green hills. Whether you're sipping on a coffee or diving into a hearty meal, the view and atmosphere complement every moment perfectly. It’s a great place to read, work, journal, or simply reflect — solo or with good company.
Food-wise, the menu is diverse, with a good mix of Indian, continental, and health-conscious options. I tried their hummus platter and spinach mushroom sandwich — both were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Their smoothies and cold coffee are also worth a try. While the food isn’t the most “gourmet” in town, it’s wholesome, satisfying, and prepared with care.
What I loved most:
The calm and creative ambiance
Friendly and welcoming staff
A peaceful, non-rushed vibe — you can sit for hours
Artistic décor that tells a story
Things to note:
It can get a bit crowded during peak hours, especially in the evenings.
The road leading up is narrow, so parking is limited — best to walk if you're nearby.
Ideal for solo travelers, digital nomads, and music lovers alike.
Overall, The Beatles Café is a charming retreat in the heart of Rishikesh. Whether you’re a Beatles fan, a foodie, or just someone looking for a peaceful corner with a view, this place won’t disappoint.
Would definitely return. All you need is love... and maybe a...

Everything was same as per my last visit. Got to know that it is closed on Tuesdays.
Tried 2 items from their menu -
Penne in White Sauce (Spinach & Mushroom) - it was good, creamy and sufficient in quantity
Across the Universe (Beverage) - Not recommended, just don’t know what they made. Not worth the price too

One of the best cafe overlooking Ganges in Rishikesh. Although The Beatles have never been to this cafe but it is dedicated it to them.
I loved the vibe, food and quantity. Music being played was too funky and cool.
Alfredo Pasta (Mixed sauce) and Masala Tea is a must try. Burger was okayish because patty was too thicker and tasted normal. Fries and sauce was very good.
I wanted to try the Pizza but it would take minimum 45 minutes to prepare as written on menu.
View is so mesmerising that you can’t take off your eyes.
I found it a bit overpriced if you go solo but it is fine in groups. People were mostly sitting, chilling and taking pictures for hours so you gotta wait to get your favourite seat. Avoid going if too much crowded as wait time can be long.

The location is simply stunning — offering unobstructed, panoramic views of the sacred Ganges, especially beautiful during sunrise and sunset. Whether you're seated indoors or on the open-air terrace, the majestic river remains in full view, adding a unique spiritual charm to the entire dining experience.
The food matched the ambiance in every way — flavorful, thoughtfully prepared, and beautifully presented. Each dish was served with care, and the courteous staff ensured that every need was attended to promptly and politely.
This restaurant is not just a place to eat, but a destination to unwind, reflect, and soak in the natural beauty of one of India’s most iconic rivers. Highly recommended for anyone seeking not only great food but a soul-soothing...
