Worst experience.. as one lady from the staff or may be owner (i dont know) has no sense on how to talk to the customers .. me and my friends had experienced her rudeness twice.. we ordered 3 chai and was studying there and having a piece of cake (which we bought before) without noticing that there is a sign which says no outside food allowed.. this girl came and rudely said that no outside food allowed .. i simply told her that we come here almost everyday so you could have said this in a nicer way as well.. she simply became defensive and while going to her counter she mumbled that if we come here everyday then we should have known better .. what an attitude 😏 When i told her that this is not a way to talk to the customers then she said I’m from hospitality i know what i am doing.. Madam for your kind information .. i have been to 5 stars and 4 stars hotels several times even their staff never talk to their customers the way you did.. so you actually know nothing about hospitality.
On the contrary, there is guy in cafe who mostly wears sunglasses has been very nice and friendly.. one day their dog named vodka came running in our school and went to the cafe to inform this guy
Me and people from my school decided not to go there again .. only because of this genz girl from hospitality 😏
We have been to many other cafés in tapovan especially on this same street but all those cafe people are...
Read moreI been there once. I live just in front of it. If you want a place with pop music western style 😎 and pumping it's probably your place. The problem is if you are their neighbors and you came all the way from abroad to Rishikesh Tapovan, for yoga and meditation to listen to this music sometimes very loud the Whole day , everyday, it's just annoying, and as I was trying to talk to the owner and explain that we came to Rishikesh Tapovan to disconnect from this and connect with the spirituality here, they answer its Just a bussines. What means that her clients demand that kind of party loud music 🎶 and in name of Development. They say.. they keep pumping and making their neighbors listening their Development music all day. So if you want to help them to keep pumping music to the ashram and yoga school around as well as me ... you probably one of this that come here just for pictures. And don't care about the soul of this place. Be aware of what you are developing in once what was a Spiritual capital and yoga . And that some bussines like this are trying to turn in a tourist superficial...

I’ve had breakfast here 2 times — it’s basic and fine. Definitely not good enough to justify the staff’s attitude.
They opened 15 minutes late, the place was still a mess, and no one said a word. After waiting outside, I grabbed a coffee from next door. Only AFTER I paid for my breakfast, the manager came over and snapped that outside drinks weren’t allowed. She said aggressively that I have to leave and take my breakfast away😳 instead of asking politely to finish the drink while I’m waiting (it was almost empty). I decided to do a refund and leave.
No apology for their delay, no empathy (I was super tired and waiting for their opening) — just hostility and zero professionalism.
I’ve worked in media (ELLE, Cosmopolitan), traveled extensively and now I live in Berlin — I’ve rarely seen service and atmosphere this bad. As a professional journalist I want people to know about it. This kind of communication is simply...
