UTMOST HONEST REVIEW
Tattv cafe is one of the oldest and most renounced cafe in Tapovan. Known for its healthy menu and great vibe, this cafe is located on the first floor with a small cave like entrance right on the street.
There is absolutely no view from the cafe unless you are interested in sitting on the table indoor overlooking busy Tapovan street.
Boasting both indoor and outdoor sitting, you’ll find a lot of foreigners there sipping a hot beverage and enjoying their healthy salads.
Went there with wife and kid and chose to sit outside on the balcony since it was pleasant there and inside was little hot and suffocating.
Food: Ordered Pesto Pizza, Cream Mushroom Soup, Greek Salad.
Everything was very average. Pesto was very very salty. Mushroom soup was thin consistency and greek salad was only filled with cucumber, capsicum, carrot and tomato. Lettuce was not so crunchy and cheddar cheese was chewy.
Diet Coke was good 🥲
Service: Quick but the staff could maybe carry a smile on their face. Also it was difficult to identify who the staff is
Payment Options: All payment options available
Parking: It is right on the street. There is no car parking. Scooty can still be parked out front. Four wheeler needs to be parked at a nearby paid car parking (cab be searched in google)
Overall I would say it is overrated when it comes to food. Ambience is solid. Maybe it got famous due to lot of footfall from foreigners making it a want amongst locals.
For the same price you can go to 60s Cafe for a much better food and ambience.
We paid ~1100-1200 for all...
Read moreI came there quite a few times. The food was good - no question about it. But the service! 🤪 To say slow would be an understatement. Inconsistent. There times when they bring you water - and there are times when they don’t (while bring it to other tables). There was a time when I finished my meal and never got the drink (tea) that I ordered from the get go. Another time an Indian friend had to remind them that I am still waiting for a drink. Now, I understand that weekends are super busy, so I didn’t mind waiting for the table when I came on Saturday evening. I placed a simple order - an omelette, salad and a tea - from the get go, hoping that maybe I’ll get served faster when the table becomes available. Yeah, right! I got a table probably 25 minutes into the wait. It took another half an hour to 40 minutes for me to get my tea. They must have been harvesting ginger and lemons! And another 10 minutes for the waiter to come out with a salad saying that they don’t have the eggs for omelette. At that point I have been waiting for more than an hour all while people who came after me where served and were wrapping up their meals. To say that that I was frustrated would be an understatement. I got my omelette in the end - after about an hour and a...

If my YTT journey had a flavor, it would taste exactly like the avocado toast here—wholesome, fresh, and sprinkled with magic. This café wasn’t just a place to eat; it was where self-study quietly turned into self-care (with a side of sourdough toast and cappuccino, obviously).
Rahul, Lalit, Aashish, and Ramji didn’t just serve food—they served love with every order and smiles strong enough to make even your chaturanga feel lighter. Their warm welcome made us Yog Kendra folks feel like we owned the place (we didn’t, but we emotionally did). I can’t even tell how sweet they were to customise my crazy healthy food requests - from 2full + 2 whites to 4 full eggs mushroom n spinach omelette, that too veggies not mixed n just folded in, to almond milk cappuccino to lemon americano, they delivered love each time.
From quiet journaling corners to loud laughter over farewell treats, this café became my sacred space—with Americano-fueled insights and salad-powered self-reflection.
I came for the food… I stayed for the people… And I’m leaving with a slightly over-caffeinated heart. Already missing you all—please deliver sourdough to wherever yoga takes...
