They are typical of the city and lagoon of Venice. The word is thought to come from the Italian word 'capanna' meaning hut: the oldest depictions are represented as shelters covered with straw-like huts. In any special occasion like date with your partner or birthday or anniversary you'll book and customised as per your requirement this cavanas ❤️

🔸. Paneer Hazari Tikka : creamy moist paneer ... Marinated with lots of special spices from glook. And it's smoked with charcoal which gives the dish a smoky flavour . Served with green and tamarind chatni 🔸. Spaghetti Aglio E Olio : Spaghetti aglio e olio is a traditional Italian pasta dish from Naples. It is a typical dish of Neapolitan cuisine. The dish is made by lightly sautéing sliced, minced, or pressed garlic in olive oil, sometimes with the addition of dried red chili flakes, and tossing with spaghetti. 🔸. Cajun spice olive egg : it's a kind of egg d8ah Where Slice eggs in half lengthwise. Remove yolks and place in a bowl and gave it a gentle mix with egg yolk spices, salt .then fried the hlf egg whites . Fill the hollowed fried egg white halves with the yolk mixture. Sprinkle with cayenne pepper, adjusting the amount to taste. 🔸. Thai Green Curry along with steamed rice: a coconut cream based curry with lots of vegitables served with plain white rice. A strong flavour of coconut oil gives a hit. But the curry was soo smooth and rich in flavours. 🔸. Peri Peri BBQ Chicken Drumstick 🔸. Meal Box (including Nun, Pulao,Mixed Veg Masala, Paneer Butter Masala, Khali Daal,Papad and Salads) : the famous veg.meal box from glook contains pulao , nun , daal , sabji , paneer etc. Though it's a veg meal box but it's taste and flavours are too much delicious . They use different types of spice for this and the total platter was delicious. 🔸. Tomato and Mushroom Bruschetta :it is an antipasto (starter dish) from Italy consisting of grilled bread rubbed with garlic and topped with olive oil and salt. Variations may include toppings of tomato, vegetables, beans, cured meat, or cheese. You can add tomatoes , mushrooms topping as the bruschetta filling . 🔸. Basket Roasted Chili Chicken : a very famous dish from this restaurant . Sizzling hot dry chili chicken which they serves on a deep fried noodles basket. Boneless chicken pieces with the correct spice order make the dish super delicious. 🔸. Mocktail - Purple Red(newly launched): a super refreshing summer drink from this super amazing rooftop restaurant . It's basically a black grape based drink . Topped with fresh whipped cream and sprinkle with some candy.

May this new year brings a lot of happiness and prosperity to everyone's life. May this year we become more Powerful against this covid-19 virus and people become more cautious about this situation. Our Greedy Gourmets was present at @Glooktheskylounge on 15th April , on the day of Bengali New year. The rooftop ambiance, beautiful pub, tasty foods and refreshing and eye catchy beverages gave our new year day another level.

Glook the sky lounge is located at the fifth floor of Pride plaza hotel. If you are coming from Airport you may take a direct bus. It's 5 mins walking distance from Biswa Bangla gate.

We were basically present there for a lunch on the new year day. We had plenty of dishes as well as we try few drinks as well. Though the rooftop was a bit hot at the afternoon time but in late afternoon it was pleasant. And also the weather was good. So we had a great experience in the rooftop. Else you may have a seat inside but obviously rooftop is more preferable. Having food with the view of Biswa Bangla gate and Newtown is quite pleasent.

🍛Food : 1.Stuffed Mirchi Rajdori Fry Moch Moche Murgi Bengali Fish Fry Potol er Dorma Chingri Malai Curry Mutton Dak Bunglow Basanti Pulao 9.Satay Kai Ravioli

Along with that we had a hookah as well! All the foods we tried was excellent in taste and also the beverages was refreshing and tasty. We basically tried most of the Bengali dishes as they have launched their bengali menu in this Bengali new year. And along with that we took two south indian dishes as well as one of my friend is fond of that.

All the drinks was very good and highly recommended based on what flavor your tastebuds is looking for. Anaras pudina Sarbat is a drink that contains flavour of pineapple and Pudina. And it tastes amazing. Sugandhi lebur Sarbat is also a top notch. Kancha Aam paana is bengali's favourite drink for summer season. Aam Pora Shorbot or Bengali Aam Panna is an unique summer drink made with grilled mangoes and a special spice-mix called Bhaja Moshla. The beauty of this Kancha Aamer Sorbot is the smoky effect and tartness from the charred raw mangoes. It’s not just another mango cooler but also extremely refreshing for any hot humid summer days. Doi gondhoraj Ghol also I liked very much.

Now come to the main part that's food. I loved their Rajdori fry , Bengali Fish fry in starter. Along with that if you are mirchi lover then stuffed mirchi can be your top notch.In main course I liked Chingri macher malaikari with pulao and mutton Dak banglow. Mutton is my all time favourite and it was very well cooked.

The Glook Sky Lounge is the perfect place to spend time alone with your loved ones in the busy crowd, as well as the enchanting rooftop view. At the time of sunset, you can really enjoy the view and captured the moment on camera with your loved one. Soothing music, delicious food and lovely view all together make you that you are in a lavish atmosphere. Mainly they serve North Indian & Continental food with Alcohol facilities. Veg items are also as good as non-veg items ( They also compete equally ). Every dish has its own flavour and impactful taste. You will really enjoy it a lot. They have banquet space for a Birthday celebration, anniversary events and many more where they organize and provide you with top-class facilities.

Ambience :

The highlighted features is the Rooftop view. It will definitely steal your heart, either you visit in the day time or evening time or night time. They have well decorated & light combination on the terrace was super relaxing. You can also enjoy the view of BISWA BANGLA GATE from here. Indoor Ambience is also superb, no compromise in that. They give equal importance to those who seat inside. You will get around 4 types of Ambience at INDOOR only and at the centre, there is a Bar Section - POURING HAPPINESS. On OUTDOOR you will get 3 types of sitting arrangements where personal space is also there.

Service - All Stuff's were very co-operative and properly maintained the hygiene protocols.

Estimated price - approx. 1400 - 1600 for two.

𝐒𝐩𝐚𝐠𝐡𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐢 𝐀𝐠𝐥𝐢𝐨 𝐄 𝐎𝐥𝐢𝐨 - 9.7 out of 10 ( Noodles with full of veggies, Creamy taste, the outer portion of bread was crunchy but middle portion is very soft. Olives, capsicum, chilli flakes, Coriander leaf, cheese, Oregano and many more make the whole plate to the next level of taste ).

𝐂𝐚𝐣𝐮𝐧 𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐞𝐠𝐠 - 9.7 out of 10 ( Oil-free dish, crunchy as well as tasty & soft from inside ).

𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐢 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐂𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐝 𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐞 - 9.7 out of 10 ( Thai green curry perfectly gone with steamed rice. Sweet in taste but you definitely enjoy it ).

𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐢 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐢 𝐁𝐁𝐐 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐧 𝐃𝐫𝐮𝐦𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐤- 10 out of 10 ( Medium spicy, Oil removed very well it will melt on your mouth, great in taste )
