Pabitra Hindu Hotel — Restaurant in West Bengal

Since my childhood, I have been a regular customer of this Hotel. It serves more than 500 customers with variety of delicious veg and non-veg dishes accompanied by Ruti/chapati or rice. Almost every items are tasty and they try their level best to maintain the food hygiene. Staffs are very friendly and helpful.

Must try ruti and egg tadka, special spicy gravy adds more taste and makes it more delicious. Additionally, a bite of onion and a green chilly, will take you in different level. I ordered Chicken Chowmein Gravy (Red). Had to wait for 30minutes. I got the delivery. Went to a friend's house nearby. Found out there was just no chicken pieces inside and Chowmein Gravy was just made with hell lot of tomato sauce and water. So thick was Chowmein that it seemed it was simply Maggi noodles. They bluffed me in the name of Chowmein. I had to return back and exchange it again for chicken Chowmein and then when I checked it, I found they didn't even bother to make another preparation. In the same veg chowmein they just had added small little chicken piece from chicken curry (one of their other item)....

Horrible . Naked flame right at the entry point Noyer at all.suitable to call" restaurant. No facility for customers . Dingy . Not suitable for family and ladies . Unattended staff . Unhygienic way of food preparation .no easy access . But it is one of oldest surviving types of its kind . Strong odour of pungent spices makes customers feel coughing quite a lot . Not friendly . Not at all thinks for any improvisation as most of the customers are flying so there is hardly any scope for them to be United for basic safety. No fire...
