Traditional place for sweets with true ghee during days when dalda was used in addition to refunded oil. Grand sweets adyar was a solo famous house hold name for all who earn for true ghee sweets and savouries .
After the first generation has faded down now the second and third generation family have taken this name places with franchise concept. But I hear that the manufacturer is still at adyar from my granny who still swears by adyar only for the name grand sweets along with her father for whom there is nothing other than that gandhi second Street place.
Still this vadapalani outlet is good enough for guys like me and hopefully you as I feel the standards here are also...

When we are about to redeem it, all of a sudden some manager named DHEENA says they have planned to increase the price in the Little app and cannot serve the food for the booked coupon which they just promised. The vadapalani location is so close to my house now. The store has two sections, one for dining and one for take out. The take out section has south Indian sweets, samosa kachori, pickles, chips and mixtures. The pickles are amazing. Gulab jamun is amazing. So is there kaju katli. The samosa kachori are soso.
