Sorgam crimson chakra I wanted to try for quite sometime and it was not a disappointing experience except the ambience. They had a versatile menu that offers food for all age groups which was a huge plus for us. We went there along with toddler, kid and elders. Once we were seated they provided panagam as a welcome drink. We ordered starters Vazhai izhai fish fry , theepori chicken main course Thenga pal Sadham , vethala Poondu Saadham combo, meen chatti choru. Tender coconut shouffle Taste wise all of them were too good. Certain things like flavour and texture could have been improved on thenga pal Sadham and theepori chicken. The thenga pal sadham was little oily than usual. Theepori chicken could have been better for the name. Vethala Poondu sadham was totally an outstanding experience my son loved it. However the combination that accompanied as part of the thali could have been better. Example bun parotta could have been avoided since serving a very healthy dish along with wonderful veg kola urundai and this parotta being a spoiler in it. Meen chatti choru is a must try here it was really worth the hype. Only thing that serving kadamba on top might be not so welcoming because of the smell. Not sure whether it will be preferred for everyone. Masala omelette was too good to balance. Curd rice should definitely needs improvement , providing in a creamy texture it should have that curd substance rice has to me smashy. We received a rice that’s mixed with cream and curd but the rice was curd. Chef in the house improve curd rice preparation which is really basic and anybody would prefer. We bought it we did not get it as compliment to serve it like that :) To finish it off we ordered coconut shouffle a good choice. Refreshments needs improvement. Can give like beeda. For the price you are quoting restaurant inner seating area , hand wash area and atmosphere definitely needs a revamp. This is not some general hotel we are walking through. Crimson chakra by default has a standard and the atmosphere inside needs improvement, have the inner seating area also similar like the entrance seating. It’s like walking through a good ambience and seating in a normal hotel inside where you serve all the food is same and price is same honestly not fair. We got served by Vinoth. He did an amazing job for serving us. Checking with us and bringing the dishes on time. His suggestions were good and appropriate. Surprised to see a starter display to table. A good choice! When approaching in a traditional way. Little more attention needed on the menu combinations which would really grasp more attention. Inner seating Interior Ambience , branding materials definitely needs improvement. Food here a good experience with family! Price is on the higher side for certain items. Overall it was not a disappointing experience but some needs improvement on the ambience compared to what you see outside. Entrance is really impressive and the fish pond is something traditionally have been seeing there for a very long time :)

I recently had the pleasure of dining at a restaurant that served some of the most delicious food I have ever tasted. The first dish that caught my attention was the Smoked Seeraga Sambha mixed rice, which was a delight to the taste buds. It was perfectly cooked and seasoned with an amazing blend of spices that gave it a unique flavor. Along with the rice, the restaurant served an impressive 20 varieties of side dishes, each one more delicious than the last. The variety in the sides was truly impressive, ranging from vegetarian to non-vegetarian and everything in between. The restaurant truly excelled in their side dish game. However, the only downside was that they had limited dessert options! I had hoped for a wider range of dessert items to choose from. This is an area that they could certainly improve on. Despite the limited dessert options, the restaurant did serve its signature dish, the Tender coconut pudding, which was nothing short of incredible. It truly left a mark on my taste buds. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for delicious food and an unforgettable dining experience. The Smoked Seeraga Sambha mixed rice and the 20 varieties of side dishes were definitely the highlights of the meal, while the Tender coconut pudding stood out as a must-try dessert. Where Stalin was our food server, and I must say he was exceptional. From the moment we sat down until the end of our meal, Stalin went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful dining experience. He greeted us with a warm smile and took the time to explain the menu and offer recommendations. He was very knowledgeable about the dishes and made excellent suggestions based on our dietary preferences. Throughout our meal, Stalin was attentive and checked in with us frequently to make sure everything was to our liking. He was quick to refill our drinks. Overall, I would highly recommend Stalin as a food server. He is professional, knowledgeable, and truly cares about making his customers happy. Thank you, Stalin, for an amazing dining experience!

Sorgam - Crimson Chakra, Gandhinagar. It's been a while since I visited my second home Chennai. Was craving badly for a full course non-veg meals. So when there was an opportunity to visit Madras, I just jumped with joy and grabbed the first flight. Was trying to form the itinerary of the must visit places and couldn't afford to miss Crimson Chakra which has now been renamed to Sorgam. So we landed up at Sorgam for a lunch date. Ordered Non-Veg meals, mutton smoked rice, bun porotta and egg chilli. As soon as we sat, we were served chilled mor. Then Nikhil Moturi gave a surpise with his "Fire-cracker chicken". It's a fabulous chicken starter which has been slow cooked for 2hrs and then pan fried. Absolutely lip smacking and my friends couldn't stop raving about it. Nikhil you should absolutely have this as part of the regular menu. As part of the Non-veg meals, piping hot mutton soup was served which had the perfect balance of pepper and coriander, subtle and fresh. The Non-Veg thali came with appalam, gongura chutney, podi,, pickle on the sides. 4 non-veg gravies of fish, mutton, chicken and crab along with beet poriyal, sambhar, rasam, and pepper chicken was served. It was a delectable spread which transported us to a foodgasm. Thiru who was looking after all the guests insisted us to have the curd which was so thick and creamy, that you just can't miss it. My friends couldn't have enough of the signature smoked rice which has maintained it's stature for the last decade as the signature of CC. The bun porotta reminded of the soft fluffy porottas of madurai served with chicken salna. Overall and extremely soul satisfying lunch which I have been craving for a really long time. Thanks Nikhil, Thiru and the entire team for your amazing hospitality. Can't wait to come back the next time. #sorgam #crimsonchakra #nonvegthali #meals

Sorgam Restaurant

server name :Vinoth

First Impressions and Ambience

From the moment I stepped into Sorgam Restaurant, I was pleasantly surprised by the calm and inviting ambiance. The interiors were a beautiful blend of traditional charm and modern elegance. Soft lighting, gentle music, and the delicious aroma of freshly prepared South Indian food made me feel right at home.

As I settled into my seat, I was greeted with a warm smile by Vinoth, one of the servers. His genuine friendliness set the tone for the entire dining experience. He welcomed me with such grace that I felt like a special guest rather than just another customer.

Service Experience with Vinoth

What truly stood out during my visit was Vinoth's exceptional service. He was attentive without being intrusive, always ready to help but never overbearing. He patiently explained the menu, gave great suggestions based on my preferences, and even recommended the chef’s specials.

Vinoth’s professionalism and passion for customer service were evident in every interaction. Whether it was refilling water without being asked, bringing extra chutneys, or checking in to make sure everything was perfect — his care made a big difference.

Food and Presentation

The food at Sorgam Restaurant was absolutely divine. From the crispy dosa to the flavorful biryani, every dish was cooked to perfection. But what added to the joy was the way it was served — neatly arranged, hot, and with love.

Vinoth ensured that each dish arrived promptly and fresh. He explained the ingredients and spice levels, even recommending what combinations would taste best. His attention to detail made me appreciate the food even more.

Personal Touch and Hospitality

What impressed me most about Vinoth was his personal touch. He remembered returning guests, addressed people politely, and maintained a cheerful attitude throughout. He even took a moment to ask if I enjoyed the meal and offered a complimentary sweet as a thank-you.

It's rare to find such a combination of efficiency, politeness, and genuine warmth in restaurant service — and Vinoth delivered all of it naturally. His attitude turned a great meal into a memorable experience.

Final Thoughts and Recommendation

Overall, my experience at Sorgam Restaurant was outstanding, thanks in large part to Vinoth’s exceptional service. It's rare to find someone who truly understands the value of hospitality — and Vinoth is a gem in that regard.

I wholeheartedly recommend Sorgam Restaurant to anyone who appreciates good food, a great atmosphere, and excellent service. And if you happen to be served by Vinoth, you're in for a treat. Five stars,...
