Shawarma Kings - Anna Nagar — Restaurant in Zone 8 Anna Nagar

One of the new shawarma spots in Anna Nagar & they are definitely the kings when it comes to Shawarma. Their shawarma is not too expensive but they showcase themselves as a quality food in terms of preparation, taste & packing.

When they launched every order used to be accompanied with Dark chocolates with a hint of mint & couple of French fries inside the shawarma. Even for one plate of shawarma I used to get 3-4pcs of chocolates. The packing also used to be very earth friendly & a big move from the tins & containers of the other outlets. In the recent months they have shifted to paper packing & the chocolates are no longer given. We really wish you could continue the trend.

One thing I don't like is the fries on the shawarma, come on guys pack them separate those who prefer can add them if needed. French fries are definitely sides & should be served that way.

I don't prefer rolls, My pick in plates 1) Cheesy Chipotle 2) Mexican 3) Shezwan etc. Tried their chicken Tikka & Reshmi Tikka my mouth was burning, everything was too spicy, did not try their malai. They should cut down the spice in tikkas by a whole lot.

Avoid the pulpy grape, not so good.

Overall a regular weekly shawarma pickup spot, the taste has been consistent. Definitely recommend their...

A perfect place to hangout with your friends.. This outlet is located bang on 11th main road (Opp to Santosh Super Market). You can park your 2 wheeler & have a quick bite.

The outlet offers both - Take Away & Dine-In. You can’t sit & eat though. Please make a note.

What did I order? Cheese Chipotle Shawarma Rolls & Mexican Shawarma Rolls Spicy Fries and Grill Chicken - Quarter portion

Taste:

The rolls were prepared really well. The dough is soft and cooked to perfection. Shawarma is stuffed inside the roll with relevant spices/sauces. Though the base is the same, the variation shown when it comes to mix & match of contents inside the roll makes it unique.

You may feel little oily but it is a rare scenario.

Fries were cooked crispy. The crispness was intact even after 10 minutes.

Grilled Chicken taste was vera level. Do not forget to mix it with the mayonnaise sauce and the onions that were served along with it.

Service:

Service was good. You don’t have to wait fir long even if it a takeaway. They also offer digital payments.

Try it once. You’ll love it for sure...

An unforgivable experience ... I have been a regular customer ever since the inception of this shop (being a localite of this area ) ... but to my shock, the shawarma was terrible with spoilt tomatoes and pungent smell due to the same ..I had got a parcel for my little brothers and they ate without knowing that ..once I opened my pack , I realized something was seriously wrong and I found out that the vegetable mix was rotten ... if I had consumed them hot at the store I wouldn't have known that , but since I got them home ( only 10 mins away ) I felt the spoilt taste because of the reduced heat ... I pray my brothers don't get any food poisoning ... kindly request the stakeholders to have a regular check on the food quality that you are supplying ... for a change of mind we come and have food outside with family on a weekend .and if that turns out to be harmful ....then nothing...
