It is not even worth to give one stars for service and atmosphere Actually Worst experience ever! This is not the first time – we’ve faced this issue multiple times. The shop is extremely suffocating – we could barely breathe inside. It felt like we just wanted to run out immediately.
If they can’t provide AC, at least they should install proper fans.
The ambiance is so uncomfortable that we couldn’t even eat in peace. Ironically, we once visited when only the staff were cleaning, and the ventilation was actually good then. But when customers come in, it’s like they don’t care at all.
Don't know why they want to hide oregano and chilli flakes after 4pm they are keeping it on billing area. Before 4 they only giving oregano in packets I don't know what's happening in this domino's ans what's the problem with the staff's.
I don't know who is the manager is!
To make it worse, the staff are very rude and behave with so much attitude. They don't know how to talk to customers – always chit-chatting among themselves, careless with taking orders, and acting like they’re not even interested in serving.
And the worst part they often don't return the correct balance. It's not a one-time mistake. Every time we visited (since it’s near our college, we’ve gone many times), they would keep 2 to 4 rupees without saying anything. Most of us just let it go thinking it’s a small amount, but when this happens repeatedly, it’s not acceptable.
Once, they even tried to cheat during a soft drink purchase. Only after I questioned them and waited, they finally gave the correct change. That clearly showed it wasn’t a mistake they were doing it knowingly...
Trying to cheat people is not at all acceptable!!
Many people I know say the same – they avoid this Mylapore branch (opposite Citi Center) because of the poor atmosphere. Definitely not recommended unless they seriously improve the ventilation and...
Read moreMy recent visit to Domino’s Pizza at RK Salai, Chennai, was a mixed experience. While the pizza quality was as expected—fresh, flavorful, and served promptly—the overall atmosphere and service left much to be desired.
Starting with the service, the staff member at the counter seemed dismissive and borderline rude when we had a few queries about customization options and ongoing offers. It felt like our questions were an inconvenience to them rather than a routine part of their job. A friendly and patient approach would have made the experience much better.
What stood out most, however, was the situation with the children from nearby slums. A group of around 7-10 kids lingered outside the outlet, taking turns entering and approaching customers. They were persistently pleading with diners to buy them pizzas, making it hard to ignore their presence. While their plight is heartbreaking, it’s also uncomfortable for customers who come to enjoy a meal in peace. This situation clearly points to a lack of proper management at the outlet. The staff didn’t seem to take any steps to handle this sensitively or ensure a comfortable dining environment.
This mix of unwelcoming service and the challenging environment overshadowed the otherwise satisfactory food quality. It would be great if Domino’s management could address these issues by providing better training for their staff to handle customer interactions and taking proactive steps to manage the external disturbances around the outlet.
Overall, while the pizza met expectations, the ambiance and experience at this location need significant improvement. It’s hard to fully enjoy a meal when the service feels indifferent, and the setting lacks the comfort one associates with a...
Read moreDear Domino's Team,
I’m writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the experience I had with one of your cashiers, Magi. Her conduct was unprofessional, and it reflects very poorly on the Domino's brand.
As an ex-employee of Domino's Pizza, I am well aware of the company's service standards and SOPs. However, Magi's behavior was far from acceptable—she was rude, argumentative, and completely lacked basic customer service etiquette. Instead of assisting or upselling in a courteous manner, she chose to argue with me, which is absolutely not the way to handle customers.
If this is how an ex-employee is treated, I’m genuinely concerned about how regular customers might be treated. I’ve never experienced such disappointing service in my lifetime, and it has compelled me to escalate this matter.
For your kind information I have 10 years experience in customer service with multiple brands.
I highly recommend that Magi be coached or retrained on what customer service truly means. This kind of behavior is unacceptable and tarnishes the reputation Domino’s has built over the years.
Please arrange a callback from the store manager at the earliest. I would appreciate the opportunity to discuss this in more detail.
Thank you for your time and...
