A Culinary Delight at Tovo!
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Tovo in Mylapore, and I must say it was an exquisite experience from start to finish. The ambiance was warm and inviting, setting the stage for a delightful culinary journey.
From the moment I walked in, the aroma of freshly prepared dishes filled the air, whetting my appetite. The menu offered a wide variety of options, each more enticing than the last. I started with the chef's special appetizer, which was a burst of flavors and textures that left my taste buds tingling with delight.
The main course was equally impressive. The presentation of the dishes was impeccable, showcasing the chef's attention to detail. Every bite was a symphony of tastes, perfectly balancing spices and seasonings. The freshness of the ingredients was evident, and each dish was cooked to perfection.
What truly stood out, however, was the impeccable service. The staff at Tovo were not only knowledgeable about the menu but also passionate about the food they served. Their recommendations were spot-on, and they went above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was nothing short of exceptional.
In conclusion, Tovo in Mylapore is a gem for food enthusiasts. Whether you're a fan of traditional flavors or looking to explore innovative culinary creations, Tovo offers a delightful array of dishes that will satisfy your palate. Coupled with warm hospitality and a charming ambiance, it's a dining destination that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a top-notch culinary...

Parking - it's an apartment building and there is reserved car parking for Tovo customers right besides the building. Bike parking available inside the complex.
Ambience - very decent Ambience. Has both sofa seats and individual chairs. Can hold about 50 people.
Food - Tovo is obviously so famous for their infused chicken ๐ ๐ and we readily ordered the butter infused chicken. One of the softest chicken you can taste. Could be better if they provided some fries along with this.. Also they have the lamb food festival going on till November month end. So decided to try the lamb specialty dishes which are not readily available in other places. All lamb dishes were in indo western style. We loved the lamb cups Indian style - which is basically spicy lamb chunks with salsa and cheese served over curved and Toasted bread. Also brain bucket is another not to miss dish during this festival - lamb brains served with a panco coating. Crunchy and yummy. In main course-- we tried the infused lamb chops served with briyani rice. The biryani taste was normal. But the lamb chops tasted perfect with mild spiciness.. We finished our meal with brownie and ice cream. ๐ง๐จโ๏ธ๐ง๐จ. Perfect brownie.
Service - needs improvement. Food was served quite slow.
Pricing - bit on higher end and the quantity for few dishes can be increased...
ย ย ย Read moreI recently dined at Mylapore TOVO, excited to try their infused chicken for the first time. However, it turned out to be a regrettable decision. Let me explain what happened. After placing our order, we eagerly awaited for our food. When it arrived, I was disappointed to find that the infused cream cheese promised by the videos I had seen was nowhere to be found. Instead, I was met with bland, tasteless chicken. The local grilled chicken would have been a better choice.
I ordered two varieties of infused chicken, which turned out to be misleadingly named as they lacked any infused cream. The burger I ordered was equally disappointing, with a low-quality bun that fell apart with every bite. When I raised my concerns with the manager, I was met with excuses. He claimed that the infused chicken usually contain butter, despite the menu( saffron chicken) clearly stating โchicken with infused cream.โ
Itโs unacceptable that the restaurant failed to deliver on its menu descriptions. The entire experience left me feeling like the restaurant is overrated and deceptive. Future customers should be wary of falling for their false advertising. The menu even includes dishes labeled as โmust try,โ but I would suggest they should be labeled as โmust donโt tryโ due to their disappointing quality.
Overall, my experience at Mylapore TOVO was a disappointment, and I would caution others against...
