New post: this used to be my favourite place. The pics posted are very old and not the current situation. They started charging tax and service. All of a sudden it’s not included in the price. Also, I have seen then pop do n the street to get needed items. Not organic! They have given me wrong change more than once, and today asked me to pay more as the coconut I ordered was bigger than normal. They defiantly don’t give me a discount when it’s smaller than normal. As I don’t come as regular as I used to because I don’t live in the area anymore I still stop by when I can. Seems as tho every time there is a different issue this past year. I will not be coming back anymore. Or recommending the place to friends. The other reviews of not great, slow service, average food, was ok when it was cheaper and sweet staff.

Read moreThe food is decent but the service isn't great if you are in a rush somewhere. We had been here about 5 times and recently tried to grab two coffees there. After waiting 4 minutes for the server to appear, then run away, then reappear, I asked for 2 coffees. 5 minutes later she came back with two pots of coffee (about 5 cups of coffee).
I told her we just wanted two coffees, so one pot is all we wanted. She said, "No, you ordered two coffees so that means two pots". So we basically had to sit there and drink copious amounts of coffee. Please, if someone orders two coffees, clarify "Would you like two cups, or two pots?" Also if you misinterpret a customer's order, take it back and don't continue to charge us for it. That pot of coffee you wouldn't take back, means we won't be coming back again. Nice...
Read moreI just moved to this area after living in Ubud 9 months. Really excited to try it. But it was a let down. I ordered red curry and substituted chili pepper for spinach, what I got was a watery yellow curry without spinach. I ate it and commented at the front asking why it was yellow and they said it was cuz I ordered without chili peppers. I've eaten many red curries in my life, what makes it red is red paste. Also, I ordered a jamu bottle and at the counter I realized "hey I have to carry this home so I will pass" and they said 'No you must pay' even though the bottle was sealed and I hadn't been given my bill yet. When I reluctantly paid for the meal, it took them 5 minutes to find change and the owner argued with me more over the...
