I recently had the pleasure of staying at Resort Resort Wapa Di Ume, and I must say, it was an absolutely fantastic experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and impeccable service that continued throughout our entire stay.

We booked a suite, and it exceeded all of our expectations. The room was spacious, elegantly decorated, and provided a beautiful view of the surroundings. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect of the suite, from the comfortable furnishings to the luxurious bathroom amenities. It truly felt like a home away from home.

One of the highlights of our stay was the incredible selection of hotel amenities. The Infinity pool was a true oasis, offering a serene and picturesque environment to relax and soak up the sun. The twin Main pool was equally impressive, providing a more lively atmosphere for those looking to enjoy some poolside fun. The availability of a buggy to transport us to our room added an extra touch of convenience and made getting around the resort effortless.

We decided to pamper ourselves with a visit to the Ume Spa, and it was an absolute treat. The staff at the spa were highly skilled and professional, ensuring that we had a truly relaxing and rejuvenating experience. In particular, Daisy stood out for her exceptional service and attention to detail. She went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and catered to our specific needs. It was truly a memorable spa experience that left us feeling refreshed and revitalized.

The breakfast staff, especially ARIK, deserve a special mention for their outstanding hospitality. They took amazing care of my son and even surprised us with a delightful homemade birthday cake, which was a lovely touch. Their attention to detail and genuine warmth made us feel truly valued and well taken care of throughout our dining experience.

The service, food, and ambience at Mr.Wayan are exceptional! I’ve been coming here every day of my stay in Ubud because the staff here have just been so genuinely warm and generous. Arik and Lasmini in particular have taken such good care of me. They’ve gone the extra mile to acquaint themselves with my name and preferences, greeting me enthusiastically every time I show up and immediately attending to me. They’re so wonderful in paying attention to detail and doing all that they can to make your dining experience here a fulfilling and memorable one. For example, they noticed that I drink a lot of water and started bringing me my own large jug each time I come here. They’re also unbelievably generous with the complementary bread basket that comes with each meal. The bread is so soft, warm, and tasty. It’s top quality and addictive - beware! Additionally, they’ve been very accommodating with my requests for the main courses. My staple here has become their signature Mee Goreng, which is one of the best I’ve tried. Because I don’t eat chicken, I asked them if they could do it with fish instead. The chefs went above and beyond to accommodate my request by substituting the shredded chicken with tuna and the chicken satay with delicious fish satay. For dessert, I recommend the chocolate lava cake, which is small but divine. It’s beautifully plated and you’ll relish each bite. While the prices here are on the higher end, I really believe that whatever you spend will be worth the money because of the quality and presentation of the food, as well as the fantastic service and the stunning views. This is one of the most peaceful places that I’ve dined at in Ubud, so if you’re looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the town, I highly recommend it. I could spend hours here! You really get the full package and they even have live music on some evenings to make for a more charming and memorable experience. Very disappointed in our meal. Soggy bread, inedible overcooked and very dry grilled chicken, ordering chicken means you only get chicken skins, and a few more issues left us extremely disappointed.

Long Version: We were excited when we showed up because the restaurant looks great and the staff is attentive and kind. We ordered and after a little while we were told that at 7:00 pm they were already out of mango. The bread we received was a nice surprise but it was a little old and soggy except for the stick ones which were good. Our food came, the grilled chicken plate and Nasi goreng (fried rice) with chicken, but the grilled chicken my wife got was over cooked and very dry. She tried eating it but could get past a couple bites so I tried it but it was pretty bad. My fried rice was good but the chicken I ordered was only chicken skins! When I asked if this was the chicken they said “yes! It’s only chicken skins!” I wish I had known that ordering chicken meant I wouldn’t get any chicken… overall very disappointed and when we left almost the entire grilled chicken plate and all of my chicken skins they didn’t ask how it was.
