I recently stayed with my family for a few days and it was absolutely fantastic! I really can't say enough good things about the villa itself and the incredibly attentive manager and staff.

The manager, Mr. Agung, was informative and so helpful every step of the way. He went above and beyond to assist with providing transportation to and from the villa and also with daily tours during our stay. The support staff are friendly, hardworking and their attention to detail is top notch.

We chose this villa because it was close enough to the city center, offered convenience as its central for many activities and still quiet and serene after a day of exploring. There's also plenty of local options nearby to get food, shop, and drink.

We were welcomed with coconut water and cool towels to freshen up. The villa rooms are comfortable, beautiful, and furnished with local stone and wood materials. Each room had their own spacious private bathroom with shower and/or tub. The tub is large and luxurious. The rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable and linen is clean. Towels are also.provided in the bathrooms. There are Air Conditioning units in each room. The pool is fantastic and surrounded by wonderful greenery. My only suggestion for the pool would be another step or two to get in. It's a little bit of a drop for older folk/those with knee problems so be very careful getting in/out. The dining/living room area is spacious and has convenient appliances available for use (fridge, coffee maker, toaster, stove top, laundry, filtered water chiller, etc.) The TV was easy to use and the wifi worked seamlessly.

The staff clean and restock every day, offer a floating breakfast in the pool and can arrange tours, rides, and experiences for you. They're knowledgeable of the local area, friendly, polite, and non intrusive. They kept our villa spotless and stocked with plenty of amenities.  I really can't stress enough how professional, attentive, and just generally incredible the staff were.

Agung was amazing, he worked with us to design a custom itinerary for each day of travel based on our health concerns (bad knees) . We visited the jungle swing, rice terraces, art galleries, a local coffee and tea plantation, saw beautiful temples, a hidden waterfall that was minimal walking/ climbing, massages, and more! He was safe, fast, and knowledgeable. He went above and beyond just being a driver and walked us through the temples and terraces and taught us about the history and culture all around us. I cannot stress enough how amazing Mr. Agung was during our stay.

There wasn't a moment where we didn't feel comfortable. I can't recommend this enough for an affordable yet luxurious...

I recently stayed with my wife and another couple of close friends for a delightful week. It was absolutely fantastic! I really can't say enough good things about the villa itself and the incredibly attentive manager and staff.

It's close enough to the city center to be convenient, and just far enough away to be quiet and serene. Two blocks down there is an incredible restaurant, Syrco Basè, from a 2 Star chef. In the other direction there is a wonderful spa, Samana Aksata, and there's plenty of options nearby to get food, shop, and drink.

The villa rooms are comfortable, beautiful, and made of great stone and wood material. The tub is large and luxurious. There's great Air Conditioning, a fantastic pool, wonderful greenery, and convenient appliances (fridge, coffee maker, toaster, stove top, laundry, filtered water chiller, etc.)

The staff clean and restock every day, offer a floating breakfast in the pool every morning, and can arrange tours, rides, and experiences for you. They're knowledgeable of the local area, friendly, polite, and non intrusive. For our trip, the manager Agung made us at the airport around midnight to pick us up, provided water and knowledge, and then checked on us every morning! Agung also came out in the middle of the night to fix an issue with our hot water within minutes. Maria, Caramel, and Made kept our villa spotless, stocked with plenty of amenities, and provided a delicious breakfast every morning. They were so quick and quiet, I would wake up from my room never even knowing they were there with a delicious breakfast waiting for me on the dining table or in the pool! I really can't stress enough how professional, attentive, and just generally incredible the staff were.

Agung also arranged a private driver for us, Putra, who worked with us to design a custom itinerary for a full day of travel and adventures. We visited the jungle swings, the rice terraces, art galleries, a local coffee and tea plantation, some beautiful temples, waterfalls, and more! Putra was safe, fast, and knowledgeable. He went above and beyond just being a driver and walked us through the temples and terraces and taught us about the history and culture all around us. Putra was also able to arrange a private visit to a nearby art gallery at the last moment yo allow us to purchase some amazing local art.

There wasn't a moment where I didn't feel comfortable, and it was an amazing private place to share with my partner and close friends. I can't recommend this enough for a...

We had an excellent stay at Ethnic Villa, where we spent three nights in the Garden View Villa as a group of six. Everything exceeded our expectations.

The WiFi was fast, the rooms were brand new and well-maintained, the pool was clean, and the kitchen was tidy and well-equipped.

There was even a washing machine available for use. The kitchen had all the necessary appliances, including a blender for fresh fruit juices and a kettle for making coffee or tea.

What stood out the most was the professionalism of the staff. Everyone was extremely friendly, and Agung the manager in particular, was always very helpful and accommodating.

Cleanliness was a top priority. The rooms were cleaned daily, and towels and bed linens were regularly replaced.

The villa is also in a great location, with excellent restaurants nearby, such as Warung Kusuma Ubud and Dewa Warung. Despite being close to amenities, the villa was very quiet, with no street noise, making it perfect for relaxation.

I highly recommend this villa for groups of friends, families, and even those traveling with...

Thank you Mr. Agung and Ethnic Villa Family for your hospitality during our stay! We're soooo happy to be the second guest of this brand new villa. Located 2,7km from the heart of Ubud / Ubud Palace and the crowd. But you'll find a peaceful place to stay here. Cozy, clean, and spacious bedroom, bathroom, livingroom, kitchen, and swimming pool! I love that they have a washing machine, so that I can do my laundry by myself 😍. They also provide microwave, oven, stove, water dispenser, refridge, blender, all of the kitchen utensils and also the cutleries. If you stay here, you don't need to bring shampoo, conditioner, soap, towel, pool towel, hairdryer, because They have it all! A little suggestion for the owner: if you have the dishes rack in the villa, and also a bigger sofa, it would be great. 😍 I highly recommend this villa if you visit Ubud! Good luck for Ethnic Villa! See you again next time!
