PROBLEM SOLVED: Hello, confused with this place!
eat here maybe 4 or 5 times and 2 times it’s really not worth it because they add TRUFFLE OIL or SAME ingredients that smell and taste like TRUFFLE OIL to some BREAKFAST or PIZZA(HUM AND MUSHROOMS) but you don’t see it in MENU and staff don’t notify you about that!
WHY ??????
Maybe someone have allergies for that and this is need to know your customer
Add here ingredients of RISE and SHINE: Toasted country bread with mashed avocado spread, scrambled egg, parmesan cheese, roasted cherry tomato on a bed of watercress
WHERE HERE IS TRUFFLE OIL????? STAFF not helped to solve that problem, just sorry sorry but I paid for that because all work must be paid!
But this my opinion of this place changed!
very disappointed, never return here for breakfast only if need buy some bakery to take out
Everytime spend here 500k+ rp
Maybe owner see that and include to menu this information about TRUFFLE OIL or SAME ingredients that smell and taste like...
Read moreBeing a customer of Livingstone Seminyak, I decided to visit the Ubud store for coffee. First, I had to repeat my coffee order twice to the Barista himself. And when I asked one of the staff before I spoke to the Barista about the different types of beans and their taste, she seemed clueless. The real problem was when I went to the cash till to pay for my coffee and water. There was a waiter standing near the cash till tapping on an iPad. When I asked him if I could pay, he replied with: “Wait a moment.” And then continued to tap on the iPad. I waited for a few seconds before realizing that this is a cafe with a big number of wait staff. So I spoke up and I asked if someone else could process my payment. That’s when the same male waiter (who asked me to wait a few seconds ago) moved towards the cash till and was about to process my payment request. At the same time, a female wait staff appeared and processed my payment. Two things come to mind: 1. Is tapping on the cafe’s iPad and checking table arrangements or bookings or whatever more important than processing a customer’s payment request? Would the same waiter respond in the same way if I was a white or even brown male person? Is it because I’m a Middle-Eastern woman that I received this type of treatment? He assumed that I wouldn’t mind waiting? He assumed that he can treat me with disrespect and that I would openly receive it? It’s a shame that this incident happened because I’m a fan of the brand and I’ll be staying in Ubud until the end of the year. On a positive note, I’m grateful to this waiter for giving me an opportunity to speak up for myself and break an old pattern. Thank you Livingstone for the opportunity to level up...
Read moreeverything is average, yet quite overpriced. the most disappointing thing is when we asked for some recommendation, we were suggested to order nasi goreng salmon (salmon fried rice)—imagine our shock when it came. just a regular nasi goreng (did not taste like salmon at all) and just two pieces of salmon skin crisps (which we usually can buy at the market for IDR2k). we even had to ask where the salmon is. there was no salmon. not even bits of salmon mixed in the fried rice. felt like we were scammed. 90k++ for that. even the nasi goreng pork belly, only had four thin and really chewy and overcooked (not yummy) pork belly slices. honestly our other dishes were not that great either. the pizza was good but nothing special, it was a meat lovers pizza but it did not have a lot of meat. mainly cheese with some tiny slices of saussage and bits of ground beef. it would not pass as a meat lover anywhere. the carbonara was good. and our fish and chips are barely fish and mostly dough—overcooked as well a bit hard for our toddler to chew. the smoothies/watermelon cooler were 75k++(not great and a bit higher priced than other places in ubud)—mixed berry smoothie was mostly banana, again disappointing. prices here are higher than most similar places in ubud. if the food is great than it might be okay, but with the dishes and their quality, honestly it’s not worth the price. just one main dish and one drink set us about 175-200k per person. i would not recommend for meals/lunch/dinner. heard a lot of good things about their coffee and pastries though. didnt tru, but their seminyak bakery was good so maybe...
