HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
Excellent taste, nice traditional ambience, tranquil, and very affordable price!
I had: Vegetarian Nasi Campur (the curry and sautéed veggies were super delicious and the sambal was very distinctive and to die for. The vegetarian sate lilit was good. The fritters: crispy mushroom and fried tempeh needed more salt though)
Vegetarian Lumpia (the lumpia itself tasted a bit bland but its sweet sour sauce was very much on spot)
Vegetable soup (light clear soup with assorted veggies. It's refreshing)
*Dharma Tea. (it was so nicely unique with spices like cardamon and cinnamon infused into the tea)
The portion was also generous. I had to take some to go (it'll be my dinner at hotel)
This Warung is situated inside somebody's traditional Bali house. You can see the family members went about their daily chores from afar. While waiting for the meals to come, you can enjoy the surrounded greenery, the sound of the little water fountain at the Ganesha pond and the wind chimes.
Will definitely go back there. It's...
Read moreThis was the best vegan meal we have had so far. I was worried that we might not be able to find vegan traditional Balinese/Indonesian food. But we found it here, and at an incredible price. We had a Nasi Campur (30k), Nasi Goreng (25k) & Pineapple juice (20k). Portion size was big and we struggled to finish. They use plastic straws, but the waitress understood me easily when I requested no straw and was happy to comply. The food does take a while to prepare, as it's a small family restaurant. The dining experience is very slow paced, so if you are in a rush it might be better to look elsewhere. I really enjoyed relaxing here and didn't mind waiting for the food. It's an outdoor dining area, so it can get warm and you might want to cover up or bring bug spray. They don't provide free water, so bring some along or you can purchase small bottles for 5k. For me it's the most traditional dining experience I've had as a vegan in Bali. And is equally as good if not better, than my previous experiences in Bali before...

Specializing in traditional Indonesian vegan cuisine, the food is freshly prepared with an authentic touch. The prices are refreshingly accessible, reflecting the homemade goodness served. There's a small table on the first floor offering a fantastic view towards the kitchen.
This is not a place for those in a hurry; instead, it's a haven for those seeking a peaceful atmosphere paired with exceptional local fare. The portions are generous, and their sate is, without a doubt, the best I've tasted in all of Indonesia.
For spice enthusiasts, you can request extra sambal. If luck is on your side, you might get to indulge in their delightful desserts. The beautiful garden adds to the overall charm of this...
