Best Ribs in Payogan ! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We've become regulars at The Local Dude in Banjar Payogan, and for good reason! This little restaurant has quickly become our go-to lunch spot whenever we're in the Ubud area. The star of the show is definitely their barbecue ribs - absolutely incredible! The meat falls right off the bone and the flavor is outstanding. You can tell they put real care into their barbecue technique. What makes it even better is how reasonably priced everything is. In an area where tourist prices can get steep, The Local Dude offers exceptional value without compromising on quality. The staff here are genuinely wonderful - always welcoming with warm smiles and great service that makes you feel like a valued guest rather than just another customer. So first it’s a winner bc they have all day breakfast and I strolled inside around 1:30. I had The Dude Breakfast - toasted sourdough ( it tasted like it was put on the grill so way better than toasted), cheese omelet, bacon ( cooked to my preference perfection, which is chewy I like for my bacon to bend.), sausage, sautéed mushrooms, salad, baked beans and grilled tomato. It was perfection. Simple but beyond good. I also had the iced lychee tea - freaking delicious. I ain’t going to lie I was dancing in my seat the whole time it was so good!! This is the best breakfast I had since I’ve been in Bali. I will be back probably too much. Along with great food, the customer service is top tier - friendly and familial.
