Had a wonderful dinner at The Normandy on Jalan Raya Semat with friends, and it was such a delightful discovery! This charming French crêperie brings a genuine taste of Normandy right to Bali. We ordered the traditional galette jambon beurre and the galette complète, and both were absolutely delicious. The buckwheat crêpes were perfectly prepared - crispy on the edges with that authentic, earthy flavor you'd expect from a proper French galette. The jambon beurre was simple yet satisfying, while the galette complète with its combination of ham, cheese, and egg was comfort food at its finest. What really made our evening special was the warmth of the owner and staff. Their genuine friendliness and passion for what they do really shines through, creating such a welcoming atmosphere that made us feel like we were dining with friends rather than just at a restaurant. The Normandy offers both sweet and savory crêpes, so there's something for everyone whether you're looking for a hearty meal or a sweet treat. We just found a Hidden gem! This place offer the best crêpes and galettes in Bali (or Indonesia?)! We came here Sunday and ended up coming here again Tuesday just because we wanted more and we crave for it haha! I seriously never had crêpes and galettes as good as here. The owner/chef is French and he still made everything by himself and he use a good ingredients (you can taste it), and he is super nice guy!

As an Indonesian, eating crepes is usually just for snack/dessert or even just for breakfast, but this place change my way of eating it. We can eat it as a meal just because they offer a good variety of galettes!

It's our second time to the Normandy. I forgot to rate the first time, but I really need to do it, as I love this place. The crepes are the real authentic thing here. The only place I found with the galette (buckwheat crepe for savoury combination) in Bali. They have excellent variety of it and it taste better than most creperies in France (I'm french by the way). The sweet crepes are also excellent thin and tasty made with that French butter for sure, and some really interesting combinations. The service is also excellent attentive and friendly.
