Warung kezia — Restaurant in Bali

Ambiance is lovely out in the garden area, and the dishes that were served were tasty (but somewhere bland). Banana pancake was one of the best we tried, but service was slow and not stream-lined. Avocado toast was also delicious, but could use a bit more flavor perhaps with extra salt and pepper.

It wasn't busy when we went at 11AM and one of our coffees, another tea, and a smoothie bowl took a very long time to arrive. The coffee and bowl had to be asked for twice while we were there. The tea never arrived. We asked for a side of cream/sugar for the coffees that did arrive and the waitress said they didn't have it (which doesn't quite make sense but that's ok). To be fair I believe there is a language barrier and I don't know Balinese so it's a mutual issue.

Overall nice for a bite, but probably won't be back. Definitely wouldn't go if it's busy or if...

The place looks good, they have a garden area with plenty of seats next to a rice field. The food is good quality and good portion, the taste is more subtle than in some of the other local warungs. I like that they have an open kitchen which looks clean and you can see how they prepare the food. The price is good, Canggu tends to be overpriced compared to other parts of the island but this place is an exception. The service is nice and friendly but I saw the waitress to be quite tired. The only thing I didn’t like is the fact that they have a small pond (more like a channel) with way too many fish inside and the water seems dirty. They should clean it and have less fish, it’s borderline animal cruelty. Please save...

It's nice to find still a place to eat Indonesian food in Canggu. It's hard to find the same flavour in the food as in Ubud or other areas on the island. Warung kezia has good recipes and reasonable prices. You can eat in an open space facing a small rice field. The kitchen is open, so you can see they are preparing your meal in a clean kitchen. I recommend you to come here if you want to eat Indonesian food. Personal feeling: I found the people working in the restaurant very tired. I wonder if they are...
