Lazy Lobster Bali – A Unique Experience Between American Diner and Luxury Lobster

Our visit to the Lazy Lobster was a true highlight. The restaurant perfectly balances a relaxed, down-to-earth American diner vibe with the exclusive enjoyment of fresh lobster. The concept of serving beer and grilled lobster is simple yet unique – it’s this combination that truly impressed us.

In terms of flavor, the lobster was an absolute delight. We had an 800-gram lobster and a substantial 1.2-kilo lobster, both perfectly prepared. The lobster was juicy, never dry, and had just the right amount of grilled flavor. Alongside, we enjoyed crispy fries, a fresh salad, and three delicious dips that wonderfully rounded off the taste experience.

The service staff contributed significantly to our positive experience. They were professional yet relaxed, making us feel welcome and at ease throughout our meal. Their attentiveness and friendliness ensured we had an excellent dining experience.

Additionally, we appreciated knowing that the lobsters came from a sustainable lobster farm rather than being wild-caught. This commitment to sustainability added to our enjoyment of the meal and aligned with our values.

Last but not least, it’s worth mentioning that The Lazy Lobster offers an excellent price-to-quality ratio for the lobsters on the menu, making the experience even more satisfying

Read the reviews and they were great but upon our arrival we we the only ones there and then another couple turned up with no one else there for the night being peak season it was very strange, level of service was low, food was fresh but all on offer was on the BBQ which was serviced as it and was over cooked and destroyed the lobster and prawn, should have just boiled it all would have tasted better. The beer was completely frozen and what I got was an iced beer. Very expensive for what we got the photos that you see was forced upon us which looked great on the plate but would have been a different story if he had taken the photo afterwards, He did asked for my honesty and I did tell him but he still past the best lol over to pay for it which was very disappointing. Unfortunately I would give this place a miss next time I am there sorry the precursors fried chips...

We read the good reviews and walked past this place a few times on our way to the beach and therefore decided to treat ourselves with some seafood. We ordered a lobster, some half cutlets, and 500g garlic and butter shrimp. We paid 1 559 000idr (~70£/145AUD) which is quite expensive and the food was very disappointing. The lobster was very overcooked, tough and so were the garlic butter shrimps - both with very little flavour. The service to order food was friendly however based on the other reviews we were overall very disappointed. We would not recommend coming...
