A&W Mega Mall — Restaurant in Batam City

Had a similiar experience as other customers visiting the shop. Cashier added sunny egg top up to my meal without informing me, same thing happened to 2 other friends eating with me - final order was not exactly what was ordered and price higher. Only realised when I got the burger delivered to me that there's an addon. Ordered root beer only but had root beer float ordered for me. The "float" was melted ice cream (only got one mouthful of ice cream overall), the root beer had no gas and no ice. Did not taste like root beer at all. Not so American burger food Great concept managed poorly

❌ Super small portions ❌ Cold burger ❌ Had to wait for fries, was told that would bring out, after 10 mins I had to go back ❌ Ordering process is extremely frustrating slow and tedious ❌ Ran out of glass drinks ❌ No ice in the coke, had to request.

They tried to made this look like the 80's .. they sure succeeded in the service part, linning up and painfully waiting as customers decide what they want. Furthermore if your paying by credit card, they make you walk to another register to process the transaction

Certainly the first and last visit. My advice, try KFC or the other...

Secretly added egg to my burger, and charged me more than the displayed set price, each item was charged as ala carte.

Service was extremely slow.

When we found an empty table, we saw previous group of customer didn't finish their root beer, some of the mugs were like 80% full, and we were thinking why the previous group wasted the drinks. Until we got our own drinks, we finally understand why. The drinks were not up to standard, tasted weird.
