Food: Extremely good. I came here for lunch with family looking for authentic Balinese food, this warung is definitely authentic and serves very good food. There is really only two choice on the menu, the nasi ayam betutu (chicken betutu rice), and the nasi campur bali (balinese mixed rice). I had the nasi ayam betutu, their specialty, which was amazing. For drinks, they have a selection of canned drinks which was okay.
Service: Authentically warung-like. Considering the extremely cheap prices of the meal, I wouldn't have expected any sort of service and that held true. I mainly spoke to the lady at the counter in Indonesian and she directed me to grab a seat and said we will serve you your order. I'm not sure they speak English but that was not a main concern for me. Drinks were a take it and tell them later affair. Service was slightly slow with food being served about 25 minutes after ordering, but this is highly dependent on how packed the place is.
Atmosphere: Next to none. You are provided with a table and a plastic chair, standard warung affair. While some might find this disconcerting, I found no problems with the lack of atmosphere in the warung. I did, however, find a problem with the amount of flies in the area. I would recommend purchasing for takeout as opposed as eating on the spot.
Price: Extremely cheap. The meal itself was Rp. 15,000 which was a steal considering the quality of the food. I cannot stress enough how good the food considering the low price-point.
Others: Although I found the food in this place to be extremely delicious, some may find the hygiene in this place slightly concerning. I should note though, I have been here a few times and have not had any problem with food hygiene. It would be wise though for those looking to eat on the spot to bring a few moist towelettes in case you are placed on a slightly dirty table.
Overall: The fact that the warung is almost always packed speaks for itself. This place serves fantastic food. Though some will find the hygiene to be a bit of a concern. I would definitely recommend eating here (or perhaps ordering for...
Read moreI’m always a fan of Nasi Campur Liku. Especially the one at Nakula street. We used to order a large portion for people at the office, but now I just eat here regularly with friends and wife.
The staff are always helpful. The foods are great. They even sell it for only 15k which is very reasonable. For people who likes to eat a lot, you can order the portion of 20k Nasi Campur. To be honest, I never ordered the Nasi Betutu because my tongue and heart always stuck with the Nasi Campur.
Because this place is always on high demand, you need to order before the lunch time because it’s their prime time. After lunch time, usually most of the stuff are already sold out.
Don’t forget to buy the crispy chicken skin! The combination between the Nasi Campur + Sambal Matah + Crispy Chicken Skin = THE BEST!
Well when we talking about how clean the place, since it’s kinda traditional local food they kinda not really taking care of it. But still, the place is decent to have your meal at. Never went to the toilet tho. Oh ya, they are a bit open space and relying on their fans only. So in the afternoon, it can get really...
Read moreI would given more stars if my husband and I had not experienced rude behavior. We have been to Liku a few times and our all time favorites have always been their nasi ayam betutu with chicken satay. Deep, rich of herbs and tasty ! The chef's did an amazing job with the delicious dish but the staff is letting them down. This is a shame !
Two things that were really a red flag for me : First, the way parking attendant treated us. He was rude and didn't help us with the parking stuff though we have to pay him money. Second, there was a couple of staff that were nice however the cashier staff who was supposed to help us during payment process was horrible. She was ignoring us and busy chatting with the other staff until we asked her attention.
Service ruined the experience. That made me unhappy and normally I don't write such a review like this to my favorite restaurant. So in saying all the above, unfortunately we won't be...
