I’ve heard so many great things about this cafe and it’s always busy so we thought we’d give brunch a try. The food was flavoursome but pretty average appearance wise. I would say I’d go back there but the staff were so rude so I will never go back. We weren’t greeted as we walked in and it took a good 5 minutes for a staff member to approach us. They have such a careless attitude and the only time I saw them smile was when they were mucking around with each other. Even over the last few days walking by and eating in neighbouring restaurants, the staff look so unhappy and uninviting. They started abruptly rearranging our table whilst we were still eating and almost smacked my friend in the head with the leg of another table when they lifted it over her head. Instead of saying sorry they just started laughing with each other. We didn’t give them a huge tip due to the lack of good quality service, however we did give them a heap of left over coins. When looking at the coins she muttered something to a coworker and they both laughed again. They couldn’t even fake a friendly goodbye or thankyou for our custom; they turned their backs and completely ignored us on our way out. I don’t recommend this place if you’re a person that wants to relax and eat in a place with...
Read moreThis has the best bakery and that is the main reason that we come here, it is always fresh and really tasty. We always end up doing a take away with the apple pie being our "must buy". Their carrot cake is so fresh and delicious too.
The reason for four stars for the food? Well, while the cakes are outstanding the food in the restaurant isn't always great, sometimes it feels like the ingredients are missing and therefore lacking some flavour. I really hate saying this, but I have to be honest! Amazing cakes and cookies, but the meals don't always match the quality of the bakery. Maybe I'm just fussy?
The location on Sindu Beach is excellent too. It's a really nice place to sit and relax with good views of the coast and the volcano when the clouds and smoke aren't hiding it. You can get some great photos.
It is street parking and you need to pay when you come down the road. Parking can be difficult in a vehicle but there's usually space for a scooter right at the beach. The main bakery is on the street side and you can get a take away box for your cakes if you prefer not to dine in. The toilets are usually kept pretty clean which can be a pleasant change compared to other establishments.
We will always choose here for the...
Read moreJust want to share my experience last Sunday, approx 8 times coming, nothing happened such a thing.
Understood if your place famous and favorable, but if you staff under performance, will ruin your business. Please train your staff properly, especially for Koming and Novi who treat us so rude and underestimate us as a domestic guest. Dont treat us like we dont have money to pay. We chose and came to your place means your place is affordable. Also, when we want to charge the phone beside the fridge, they do not allow us because the area is belong to owner. When my friend ate lumpia, Novi said "jangan makan lumpia disini..!" with rude face. Only 3 pcs of lumpia and you said with high tone. Really??
Ika and Wulan can be a role model for them, even maybe still junior, but attitude more than anything. Trust me !
Feel disappointed for this, especially to all of my friend (11 persons) who agree to my advise. I dont need compensation, I dont need you to make it right, I just avoid your place...
