Dinner on Beach, catching up with family (Perth & GC) x4 persons mature age lady (patient & pleasant) took orders ..drinks & entrees (nice spring rolls) served quickly longish wait for 2 meals (they said tasted ok, but not quite what they expecting) my medium-well done Tuna Steak finally arrived as first 2 meals finishing, near raw only to be returned (also asked where was 4th.meal, Gado-Gado suspect it was forgotten) afew minutes later my Tuna Steak retuned, better cooked thru yet rice now cold ..despite this, I enjoyed the meal (flavours), Tuna serving was small. it took a little while later for my lady's Gado-Gado to arrive, clearing aside alot of sauce, it was found to be just boiled Tofu chunks, acouple of fried Tofu bits & not much else other than the sauce. NO Steamed Vegatables (main ingredient), one small slice of egg white ..and that horrible tasting sauce drowning everything ! ..all at table tried a little bit, and all agreed not eatable. advised staff of the issues, but NO interest at all, just left on table until cleared some 30 mins later (no apology etc)

The best thing of the evening (other than catching up with family after a long time apart) was the Singer, smooth voice, lovely song choices & guitar playing.

We've seen it all over 35 years coming to Bali, but not had poor disjointed service like this for many years, nor local dishes as poorly presented & the worst tasting Gado-Gado ever ..all from a venue that promoting itself as quality food & service ?

Do yourself a favour, stay away from this place ..there are a lot of quality eateries in Sanur, especially on the beach...

Disgracefull service we sat down waited a couple of minutes and then wait person came over gave us menu's after deciding what we wanted for food and drinks we tried getting staff to take our order we ask a guy in white shirt he speaks to another guy in green shirt he in turn speaks to a young girl who calls out to another guy in a green shirt who finally decides to come over to take our order which was a small meal for both of us and two small bintangs so off he goes to place order and get beers. After waiting and watching our waiter person talking and playing with one of the girls for ten minutes and not bringing over our drinks we decided to leave will never go back. I stumbled upon this hidden gem while strolling along the Sanur promenade. Tables, sunbeds, and sun chairs are surrounded by lush greenery with direct access to the beach. As a parent, I found this place very hospitable. The kids are warmly welcomed there and no one will grimace at them running around. There is a small outdoor shower and a swing.

The food is very tasty with a fair share of fresh vegetables, which is not so common in other nearby places. My absolute favorites are the falafel wraps, the sushi, and the daiquiris.

One of the most distinctive characteristic of this place is that you will not be charged separately for the sun bed, you are only advised to spend a moderate amount on the consumption, which is totally fine taking into consideration their...
