Sauce Tree Sanur: Plant Based Cafe — Restaurant in Denpasar Selatan

This place is the jewel of Sanur beach. I think it's an amazing place, especially for vegans. The overall vibe in the store was calm and quiet. This was partly because it was an early lunchtime and we were the only ones there. We ordered Satay taichan, Carbonara pasta, Arrabbiata pasta, Pesto fried rice and Butter chickun rice to start. All of the food was delicious, but the Carbonara pasta was absolutely amazing - it was almost the best vegan Carbonara pasta I've ever had. The Pesto fried rice was also a great flavor that anyone who loves pesto will love. I thought the portion sizes were a bit small. Maybe it felt that way even more so after swimming in the ocean, so we ordered an extra Saucetree burger and a Shroomy burger. There were four of us including me and we shared two burgers and felt full. I personally enjoyed the Shroomy burger, it was made with deep fried mushrooms instead of the usual hamburger patty, the flavor of the burger with the sauce was amazing. Absolutely amazing vegan experience at Sauce Tree! From the starters to the mains – especially the burgers – everything was just incredible. The Last of Us burger totally blew us away. It didn’t just taste amazing, it also brought back great memories of the series in the most delicious way.

To top it all off, we had a vegan cake for dessert, which was the perfect sweet ending to a fantastic evening.

The staff are super friendly, welcoming, and clearly know what they’re doing – great service all around. The location itself is beautifully designed, with a relaxed yet professional vibe that makes you want to stay longer.

I'm impressed with the staff, they presented solid hospitality and a serving spirit to the guests. They treat us like friends. The waitresses did a great service, and the kitchen team did a great job too. The food was quick to serve and delicious. All the menu items are homemade and plant-based.

Had dinner last night, and they made me come back the next day for a free desert (by buying any menu as the terms) 😁

Again, I appreciate their efforts! They did a dedicated service to everyone, foreigners or locals like me—equally. They should be a great example for hospitality people in Bali!
