The Rooftop at Seaesta — Restaurant in Flores

Came to have dinner here while on my sunset-chasing trip across the restaurants of downtown Bajo.

Positives : -Good vibes and atmosphere, with a pool and deck, and a radio DJ and live music at nights.

-Selection of affordable happy hour cocktails.

Neutral :

-Views of the sunset and the bay area good, but somewhat blocked off by newer construction.

Reasonable amount of food options with dietary concerns considered.

Somewhat negative : -I had the linguini aglio olio with shrimp, which comes with french bread. The bread was somewhat uninspiring and bland, and the pasta only slightly more tasty. Not enough of a garlic, olive oil or red pepper flavor. Shrimp was small and just OK, nothing to write home about.

-Might just be because I came at a busier time, but staff were not very welcoming unless I walked up right to them to call...

Dining at Siesta was an amazing experience thanks to its chef, Mrs Raija, whose extraordinary talent shines in every dish. Her creations perfectly blend the authentic flavors of Indonesia with the elegance and technique of European cuisine, achieving an impeccable balance of taste, creativity, and presentation.

What impressed me most, beyond the food, was her professionalism: discipline, order, and spotless cleanliness in the kitchen, combined with a warmth that makes every guest feel at home.

I am convinced that, with her talent and dedication, she could easily aspire to a Michelin star. An experience I will always be...

We have spent a wonderful evening at Seaesta with a gorgeous dinner experience and some drinks afterwards.

The atmosphere is great and especially the hill view over the bay makes it a special experience.

A short rainfall caused some chaos for the staff but at the end they handled everything well and rearranged the cosiness quickly after the rain had stopped.

Service staff and bartenders where extremely nice. We had some wonderful conversations with the really great team.
