Dear Starbucks
I just had inconvenient experience in Labuan Bajo outlet. The problem is simple, the Starbucks ‘partners’ refuse to give me a water. Just-A-Water! Very stingy. I never ever face this act of ungenerous behavior in any other Starbucks around the world. Even in the same outlet in bajo, the other ‘partners’ gave me a water (i went to this outlet everyday during my holiday) unfortunately this day i met this special ‘partners’.
I asked the water just because Starbucks DID NOT SELL a mineral water in here, not like in any other store in Java or Bali.
Water is important things after i sipped a coffee as I have health issues. And yes, my heart rate is raising almost 100bpm right after sipping the drinks (normal person without heavy activity is around 60-80bpm) And I asked again for water, but she insisted me to buy the water from convenient store nearby.
I even dont know her name as she didn’t wore the name tag. All I remember is she use glasses.
This is absolutely against the Starbucks rules : Refuse to give me tap water Didn’t use name tag Stingy Insists me to buy & bring product from other store, while as i knew it is prohibited as may caused food contamination with the own starbucks / restaurant product
Actually i dont mind to buy the water from this outlet, but there is no mineral water option here, just bottled apple/orange juice.
Please check the CCTV from 17.47 - 19.00 WITA 14 May 2025, I sat on the long bench near the corner wore blue tshirt and navy short pants.
Lately i knew her name is Monica after short question from other ‘partners’, the girl who wore white shirt & glasses.
This shouldn’t be happen in the future for great Starbucks experience.

Read moreWithout realizing it Starbucks has created an international meeting place for tourists and locals alike! While visiting for 10 days I watched the pleasant surprise on tourists faces only matched by the joyful enthusiasm from the smartly dressed employees at the door and behind the counter. I was thrilled to be able to order a coffee "from home" and say "no plastic please" and receive my drink in a glass to use with my stainless straw. I have been loving the local food here in LB but the coffee was something I missed from home.
The store is immaculately clean, large enough for a group of people or a singleton, AC, lots of outlets at the seats and strong wifi. The ice is safe and was the first I had had in 19 days, what a treat!
I Highly reccomend stopping by and make sure you say Hi to all the wonderful folks working there who will truly brighten your day and who are sincere with their happiness!
Note: I know some will say I should only reccomend a local place as I am traveling and should support the local economy. This Starbucks is doing just that and has earned its place in...
Read moreThe first ever starbucks in East Nusa Tenggara, where Starbucks is near Kampung Ujung, a culinary tour of Labuan Bajo, you can just walk to get to this place, and for those who are Muslim, you don't need to worry about missing prayer when hanging out, because this Starbucks is right in front of the mosque. And if we talk about the taste, it feels the same as other Starbucks in Indonesia, and this in my opinion is cheaper than at the airport. But you can buy a "Labuan Bajo" tumbler, but the pic from the tumbler when i go to this place is not the comodo dragon which is the signature of west manggarai...
