Pineapple resto — Restaurant in Gili Air

I recently dined at Pineapple Resto, and unfortunately, the overall experience was quite disappointing. The service left much to be desired, it was slow and messy. My cola was served in a can wasn't cold, so we ordered watter instead, we received a large bottle with no accompanying glass even if asked for afterwards. Waiting for an hour for our food was frustrating. While my burger was acceptable but dry, my wife's chicken sandwich with mushrooms, which arrived after I had already eaten my burger, was terrible. It lacked taste and featured a strange, flavorless sauce.

On a slightly more positive note, the oreo milkshake was enjoyable.

Finally, the hygiene at the restaurant was questionable, as we observed the barman rubbing inside his ear before picking a straw. Overall, the service, food quality, made this visit less than...

Came here for a cheap eat and were blown away with the taste, quality and service - such good value! We came back the next morning to try their coffee and smoothie bowls. 35k for a creamy and wonderful smoothie bowl with delicious gluten free granola, definitely the best price we've come across on the island 🙌 I don't know why it doesn't seem to be busier, I can only think that perhaps the menu is a bit long and daunting as there are so many options.

Suggestions to the owners - try shortening your menu by focusing on a few types of food and see...

We are staying almost next door to this place, it seems unassuming and also very basic but the food certainly isn't. We've eaten almost all three meals a day here and are a party of 13 with different tastes - there is definitely something for everyone. Along the strip of Gilli there's a lot of pretty places to eat which we also tried, in general they're are also good but are catered to a tourist market.
