Warung Ceria — Restaurant in West Nusa Tenggara

I hate to leave negative reviews (usually I never do because I dont want to hurt someone's business), but this place is running a racket in cahoots with the local snorkeling company, and they need to be exposed so other people dont have negative experiences like I did.

After the snorkeling, they take you here. Due to this guaranteed business from the snorkeling company, this restaurant has no care for quality control whatsoever. This is literally the worst food I've had during my stay in Indonesia. I ordered the Nasi Goreng, and it came out in a couple of minutes. Ironically, half of it was cold. It was like they served me a dish that had already been sitting out. If this were America, I would send the food back immediately. I tried my best to eat it, but it was almost inedible. In hindsight, I should have sent it back. Afterward, I tried to talk to the manager and let him know the situation. He didn't care. He said, "Look, so many people ordered the same thing, and they are eating it." They don't have a problem, but why you do?"

Please avoid this place if you don't want your snorkeling trip ending in...

Do not go here. Was brought here by a private snorkeling trip and as other reviews state its a scam.

We ordered off the menu but without informing us, they brought a different fish than what we ordered that was over 300k more than what was on the menu. We brought cash for what we ordered, a credit card, and did not bring ATM cards with us.

Upon receiving the bill they insisted this is what we ordered, even though they admitted we ordered tuna and what they brought us was not tuna.

They do not accept cards and tried to force us into paying an insane amount for what they decided to bring to our table instead of what we asked for. It wasn’t until other snorkeling groups were brought into the restaurant and we gave them a heads up to watch what they were ordering lest they be scammed too that the restaurant owner backed off.

Ceria staff, scamming tourists and doubling down on lies is so unlike the Indonesian culture we’ve grown to know and love....

Definitely not recommended for a visit.

I was brought here with a snorkeling tour, they definitely have a cooperation. For the food itself, chicken wrap was rather small, a lot of source inside. It was ok. The mango juice was very goog. The food serving time was quite good too.

The price/quality is already overpriced in the menu, but at the end they trying to charge you +10%, however its not stated in the menu. The waiter said its written at the cashier, but its not written there too. On top, they are trying to charge the higher prices on some dishes, in comparison to what was stated in the menu, probably expecting that people are tired after snorkeling and no one is paying attention. After the confrontation with the cashier, they dropped all the extra numbers.

Last sad point is that chairs, maybe just some of those, are quite dirty and leaving the dirt/stains on...
