Sari Gili Bungalow — Hotel in Gili Air

We stayed at sari gili for 2 nights, the rooms are quite small but clean and nicely set up. The staff are very friendly and always welcomed us when we came back from our activities, they offered us fresh dry towels every time we went swimming and asked if we needed any island information. My boyfriend booked this for us but I thought it was a little expensive for what it was (breakfast wasn’t included, our tv didn’t work, no fridge, location) compared to other hotels I have stayed at on gili air. It wasn’t anything amazing but it was nice, the only downers were the construction noise happening right behind and next to us which started very early 7am onwards and also when checking in, we booked through booking.com which had the total price in rupiah but the staff member tried to charge us some ‘commission fee’ after we had paid the booking.com price which we disagreed with and didn’t pay, he said his manager would speak to us but no one approached us for the rest...

✅|Really enjoyable stay at Sari Bungalows! My bungalow was small and basic but had everything I needed. The bed was incredibly comfortable and I slept very well. Plenty of storage space for bags and belongings too. The bathroom is spacious, and the shower was so powerful. I loved it! There are some lovely restaurants and bars within walking distance too, with some less than a 5 min walk away. It would take ~10 mins to get to the west side of the island for some sunset cocktails by the beach. ||The staff are very kind and friendly, particularly want to shout out Mr Anjay and Mr John! We stayed here for a week and loved every minute of it! The room is small but there’s plenty of storage and the size didn’t bother us at all. The entire place is incredibly clean and the staff works around the clock to ensure everything is perfect. We are SO impressed with the quality of the stay for the price. The pool is nice and cool- great for an afternoon dip. The breakfast is delicious and there are many options. There is hot water which we hear is rare on this island. The AC in the room is nice and cold. The sheets are clean and crisp and the bed and pillows are very comfortable. All of the staff- especially Wulan- made us feel right at home. The WiFi is decent.
