Read moreThe food here is really good, with plenty of seafood options, and it’s all no pork, no lard. The service is excellent, especially from Yeni and Hamdan, they always ensure a great dining experience.
I ordered quite a few things to try.
The Papaya Salad and Pad Thai were nice, classic Thai dishes with familiar flavors. The Kratong Tong (crispy cups with savory filling) was fun to eat, light and crunchy.
The Wagyu MB5+ was good quality and nicely cooked, juicy and tender.
I also tried their fresh oysters with different sauces, which were really interesting! Pattaya Sauce (the green one with lime) was fresh, zesty, and turned out to be my favorite. Bangkok Style had a sweet and sour flavor, also nice. The simple lemon version was clean and classic, but I still liked the Pattaya Sauce best.
The Salmon Yam also came with the same green sauce as the Pattaya oyster. It was light, tangy, and paired well with the salmon.
Updates: this is the second visit here. We ordered different dishes from the first time to try more of the menu.
Kaeng Mussaman Curry (with chicken) tasted a bit like gulai, slightly sweet, quite mild. Just okay for me.
Grilled Lemongrass Chicken was really tasty. The chicken was already flavorful on its own, but the dipping sauce (dark and citrusy) made it even better.
Pad Se Ew (with beef) had a great balance of flavors. The stir-fried noodles were thick and chewy, soaking up all the soy-based sauce.
Thai Chilli Eggplant was lightly spicy and enjoyable. The eggplant was coated and fried first, which gave it a nice bite.
A big plus is that the food came out really quickly, which is great when you're hungry and in the mood for good food.
Bonus points for the attentive staff, they helped push my relative’s wheelchair all the way to our table. Even though it was a bit crowded due to a large booking, they found us a nice spot indoors since we were a small group. That kind of thoughtful service really stands out.
Definitely a place I’d...
Read moreAuthentic Thai Restaurant in PIK A great spot for authentic Thai cuisine with reasonable prices for the PIK area. Everything I tried was flavorful and true to Thai flavors. Parking was easy, and same-day reservations were available.
Visited for weekday dinner, and the restaurant was only half full, making for a comfortable dining experience.
What I Ordered: ✅ Pomelo Salad (4/5) – An interesting mix of flavors! The pomelo adds a refreshing touch, and it even comes with soft-shell crab as part of the salad.
✅ Mango Salad (4/5) – Classic Thai mango salad, but well-presented with a good balance of spiciness (not too spicy).
✅ Pad Thai (4/5) – Standard but well-executed—a solid choice.
✅ Tom Yum Goong (5/5) – Absolutely delicious! The sweet, sour, and spicy flavors were perfectly balanced. The only downside was that it came with only two shrimp per portion, but the soup itself was outstanding.
✅ Pandan Chicken (4/5) – A kid-friendly option! The chicken was flavorful, and while the sauce was slightly spicy, even small kids enjoyed it.
✅ Eggplant (5/5) – Crispy on the outside, soft inside, with a sauce that reminds me of a Thai-style balado—flavorful and well-seasoned.
✅ Green Curry Beef (5/5) – Usually served with chicken, but this restaurant offers a beef version. I was skeptical at first, but it turned out to be one of the highlights of the meal! The beef was tender, and the rich green curry complemented it perfectly. A crowd favorite!
Final Thoughts A solid Thai restaurant with great flavors and fair pricing for PIK. The Tom Yum Goong and Green Curry Beef were standouts. Would...
