I’ve never been to such a filthy restaurant in my life. The place was absolutely dirty—especially the bathroom, which had a grimy sink, filthy floor, and a dark, unkempt prayer room with a dirty wudu area. The floor throughout the restaurant was dirty with cracked walls that were never fixed. The windows were so dusty, I honestly wondered if any staff ever cared enough to clean them. Tables were left messy with food scraps, and it took forever for anyone to clean them up. It was visually unpleasant and very uncomfortable.
The air conditioning was only available in a small area downstairs, while the rest of the restaurant was scorching hot and only had some fans. As for the food? The fried chicken was nothing special—not worth the long wait and packed crowd. We assumed the place must be great since it’s been around for so long, but clearly, no one seems to care about cleanliness or providing decent service. The staff looked uninterested and unfriendly, like they didn’t even want to be there.
And what shocked me the most—in 2025, they only accept cash and debit cards from Mandiri. If you don’t have that, you have to do a manual bank transfer to one specific bank. No QRIS, no modern payment options. I mean, how outdated can you be? Has the owner never visited the restaurant to see how unhygienic it is—or to update the payment system for modern times?
I’m never coming back here. Not recommended at all. And honestly… I don’t even want to imagine what the kitchen looks like. If the visible parts are this bad, the kitchen...
Read moreSimple but finger linkin gewd!! Hidden gem in South Jakarta. They only have 1 menu: ayam goreng/fried chicken but the taste is absolutely tasty.
Freshly made, fast service and relatively inexpensive (~IDR 120.000 for 1 whole chicken + rice + ice tea) no wonder it’s always crowd at lunch time and dinner. Though the place is spacious, you will find it difficult to find a table around 12 PM and 6.30 PM.
Just patiently wait for around 15-30 minutes. It is all worth the wait ! Tips: eat there while it is still hot! don’t forget to eat the chicken with the chilli. It is not that hot. The chilli is half of the fun try the nasi uduk. try the Es Kopyor!! Omagaahh that’s yumm too! try the street vendor around the area (e.g. kue hijau, es podeng) the mango seller in front the restaurant, if you want to try, don’t hesitate to ask for the price first don’t forget to leave money for the street mucisian in the restaurant.

Read moreTrying one of the legendary fried chicken in town. The first time I was arrived, the place was full so the security listed down my name and I waited on the bench outside for a while. Ordered their Ayam Kampung Goreng 1/2 portion (perfect for 1 person), Lalapan (Mixed Raw Veggies), Tahu Tempe & Nasi Putih. I personally love their chicken, it was tender, well marinated and tasty. Unfortunately the chicken was cold the time it was served and the rice also was hard. It seemed that the chicken was fried in batches and the steamed rice was prepared long before the customer ordered. The serving after submiting order was quick, but that’s all cold food that you got. The chili sambal was nice and not spicy at all. If you order plain hot tea, it will be free of charge. So after all about the dining experience it was just okay, not too bad, but you can definitely find a better food somewhere else. They don’t accept QRIS payment, just...
