Bariuma Ramen Review: A Disappointing Encounter
Upon visiting Bariuma Ramen, we expected a warm and inviting experience to complement the reputation of their ramen. Unfortunately, our visit left much to be desired, marred by poor service and unprofessional behavior.
As a party of two, we arrived at an empty restaurant, anticipating flexibility in seating. However, we were abruptly denied seating at a four-person table and instead directed to a cramped two-person table. This decision seemed unnecessary given the lack of other diners, making it a frustrating start to the visit.
The service further deteriorated when the waitress displayed overt unprofessionalism, including visible irritation and impolite gestures. Such conduct is far from acceptable, particularly in a hospitality-driven establishment. The lack of courtesy and customer-first attitude left us feeling unwelcome and devalued.
While the ramen may have its merits, the experience was overshadowed by the unpolished and discourteous service. Sadly, Bariuma Ramen has lost us as patrons, and it has earned a place on our personal blacklist. A disappointing outing that could have been avoided with better...
Read moreNot sure why the ratings of Bari-Uma ramen isn’t at least a 4.5. The ramen shop has an open kitchen concept and you can see them making the fresh ramen noodles. You know this is will be a good ramen place if they are able to make their own noodles. You can also choose the doneness of the noodle to your liking when you order. I chose original for my case.
This place serves authentic japanese shoyu ramen. The ramen broth is not too greasy and it has a pleasant porky flavor broth with the shoyu aftertaste. The ramen comes with a slice of THICK cut pork chasu, a perfect cooked ajitama and some green onion.
I had to order an additional portion of the thick pork chasu as it was soooo good! Also ordered a pork gyoza and chicken karage. Both are delicious and pairs well with the ramen.
Overall, for a shoyu based ramen Bari-Uma is the place to go!!
Parking is also easily available as it is located in a...

I recently tried their Ajitama Ramen, and it was a delightful experience. The pork was incredibly tender and fresh, complementing the bold and flavorful broth perfectly. The balance of flavors was spot on, creating a refreshing and satisfying meal.
While the food is exceptional, the restaurant's ambiance could use some improvement. The dimly lit interior and slightly unkempt appearance might deter some customers. With a little more attention to cleanliness and lighting, Bariuma Ramen could elevate its overall experience and attract even...
